I've worked at my new job in the store for 3 weeks now, and today was my first day I had to replace the manager. Everything went well, I handled everything perfectly, closed the computer down like always... we were ready to go home, all that was left was put the money in the vault... So I did... Closed the vault again.. Tried to get my key out... Wouldn't move an inch... It was stuck... Nice... On my first day as a real assistant! Can you believe that?! What are the odds!!! Let's hope they won't fire me...

Oh my 10eke... I hope you can look back on this someday and laugh outloud but I'm sure at the moment it was a real panic for you! I hope they didn't fire you over this.

I stopped by at work today. I had a day off. They told me they're fixing the vault tomorrow. We think we've found the reason why it got stuck: the key they gave me was bent. So it's really not my fault... It probably could have happened to anyone who'd gotten my key....

I knew it had to be something like that. A bent key could get stuck very easily. So you can breathe easier now.

Hi 10eke.. have you had any more problems with the safe and the key getting stuck... that was funny... are you able to look back on it and laugh about it now?

everything is fine now! I just got a call from the boss I get more hours to work! So no more wellfare!! And she's going on holliday for 3 weeks soon, so I'll be running the store then. Soooo exciting!!
