Anyone watching the worldcup? Our country is going nuts! Holland is playing today. My boyfriend bought a t-shirt because of it... Oh well, I'm not the one who has to wear it!

oops! i meant friday! I was listening to a song called ' love me on wednesday'. My mistake...
How much to win? they have to win twice to go to the quarter finals...

I've done that before... I've even called people by their wrong names when thinking of something else... so don't worry about it. Good luck this Friday... hope you win so you can go to the quarter finals!! You must have a very good team!! I like the color orange! Do you know that Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company uses orange as one of their logo colors?

no I didn't! I don't know much of bikes, sorry... Thanks for telling me though!
I don't like orange, it's too... don't know how to put it... it attracts too much attention. Know what I mean?

We put in a Harley billiard table in our "previously hardly ever used" formal living room and put a game table in our also previously hardly used dining room. I'll find a photo.

I have always lived in new homes with white walls and never painted anything. I used to be a real stickler about making people take off their shoes before coming into my house, couldn't put your feet on the furniture etc. I'm sure my son hated it... but then Don and I got married and he's so easy going and we moved to the country and we sold our house in Las Vegas completely furnished and decided when we moved here to make this house our own... I know there is no other house in the world like this one.
It's a fun house and my lifestyle is a lot more carefree and laid back. I used to keep all my Betty Boop collectibles in their boxes stored away in big boxes in the attic and my husband asked me why I bothered to collect them if I wasn't going to display them and I decided he was right! So now our family room has big cases with Betty Boop figurines. And both bathrooms are done in Betty Boop from floor to ceiling and same way with the guest bedroom and my kitchen.
One of my friends told me that I'm lucky cause I can buy everything wholesale. She's right about that... fortunately!!
But my husband paid over $6,000.00 for his Harley pool table and that same amount of money buys a whole lot of Betty stuff for me! LOL!!

Someday, I would like to do similar. I just can't do it in this small condo.
I 'envy' you. Well actually, I congratulate you.

I lived in a condo back in the early 80's... so I've paid my dues... worked hard to get where I'm at today. I still have friends in Prescott who are haughty taughty and make me remove my shoes when I go into their big custom built multi million dollar homes that look like model homes and don't look like anyone lives there. But I don't mind cause I understand where they are at in their lives.
I used to be pretty prissy and down right mean about my house but then I had a housekeeper that came in twice a week and did everything for me and I travelled all the time and hardly stayed at home. So my homes weren't really homes they were just houses that I sold and made money on.
This house is a home... we truly live in it and everyone tells me that they can't believe I actually have a cat and dog living in my house and that it means more work for me... well yes it does but it's ok... I like my animals and like our lifestyle.
If you had told me 15 -20 years ago that I'd be living out here in the country and riding a Harley motorcycle, I would've laughed right out loud.. but hey we never know what life has in store for us. I used to have health problems and I know it was stress related... all that worry and making big money wasn't worth it.
It's like Forest Gump says... life is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're going to get!!
