She had sort of a rough day. She didn't understand why she wasn't getting presents on her birthday. I tried to explain to her that she had her party Sunday and got all her presents. She was still upset. But she got in a somewhat better mood when Daddy let her pick where she wanted to go have lunch at!! The stress of being a 6 year old!! lol! :rolleyes:

It probably was a little confusing for her wondering why she didn't get any gifts on her special day. Glad you got it resolved ok. It's tough being a mom to a six year old sometimes isn't it?

June 7th was my birthday! I was 23. And I don't want to get any older!!
ALL my presents were Betty Boop!!
I got x2 money boxes, a mug set with matching spoons, 1950's diner musical statue that plays "Blueberry Hill", M.Monroe style mug, a large picture in a frame and a letter "N" (for Nicki) with a naughty nurse on it!!
I was so lucky!!!!!! :D

I was right there with the 4 year old while she examined the figurines.. all my really valuable collectibles are in glass cabinets. Her grandmother is a Betty fan too so she already knew not to handle them but I gave her permission on a few things. She's my kind of gal.. loves motorcycles and Betty Boop! I told her she is going to be my best buddy!! She laughed!! She's a cutie!

She says she has been super busy lately.

The other day my cousin came over with her daughter who is almost 4. She went right for a table in my living room. I have alot of water globes and such on it. Before I could say anything, Saedee, my youngest was right in her face yelling, WE DON'T TOUCH MOMMAS BOOPS!! THAT IS A NO NO!!!
LOL!! I couldn't help but laugh!!

At least I know my kids do listen to me....sometimes!! :D
