I haven't been around for a few days... busy getting ready for our trip to California. We're leaving early tomorrow. Sure hope the Ohio State U. Buckeyes can win this one. They haven't beaten USC since 1968 and it's unusual for them to be playing a Pac 10 team this early in their season. Usually these games are Rose Bowl or Championship games... so it's pretty exciting. I'l be back home on Monday... so probably won't be here for a few days after that. Take care and have fun Boopers!!

It was one of the saddest games I've ever had to see Ohio State play in. I cried... told Don halfway through the 3rd quarter that I was done and that my heart couldn't take anymore. Those USC fans are ruthless! Loud and obnoxious! And losing as badly as we did just made it seem even worse! In spite of the huge loss, we tried to enjoy our trip as much as we could but it was difficult. I had forgotten how much traffic there is and how bad the smog is ... it was really a disappointing trip! But we gave it our best shot and that's all we could hope for under the circumstances. The L.A. Coliseum area is the absolute pits... one of the worst areas imaginable! USC is sure in a poor area. Sad....
I hope that OSU can make up for it next year and will be able to defeat USC as soundly as they defeated us. They will get to see how it feels to be in a "hostile" environment at Columbus Ohio! LOL!!
