Yes, it will be sold in America. And you are right? Betty Boop frangrance will be fruity and with rose and jasmine flowery scent. Bottle is pink with classic pump. I am very confident that Perfume will be launch in the end of next year since our French producer also like Betty Boop very much.:D

My opinion is that I don't think Betty Boop fans will really care about the actual name be it French or American or whatever... I think they will try it based on quality and scent. If it's a good product, the customers will buy it again but if it isn't good quality then you can just pour it down the drain.

Betty Boop customers are very prestigious and selective in the items that they buy and/or want to add to their collection.

Perhaps you could consider a quality perfume and give it a French name and possibly have a sport scent that is lighter and fresher and give it an American name and have it be less expensive... like an after bath spritz or something.

There was a company a few years ago that had a line of Betty Boop bath products that did very well for us.. unfortunately, they stopped making them but NJ Croce is introducing a line of room fresheners/fragrances that we have orders for already and we won't see the product for a few more weeks.

I do know that there is a whole segment of my customer base that is dedicated solely to Biker Betty Boop and I think that is one of the reasons that image has not gone away and just keeps getting stronger and stronger all the time.

As more and more women get into the exciting world of motorcycles, that product line will just continue to grow. The Betty Boop Motorcycle Club adds new members every month!!

And yes, Sophia, I own and operate an e-commerce shop called Clubbetty.com and I would love to add your products to our line. But it has to be officially licensed merchandise only! We do not and will not sell unlicensed merchandise.

i don't know if you've noticed, but a lot more than BB is manufactured in China.
So are electronics, ceramics of all kind, etc. etc. etc. This is not a new phenomonon. The countries may have switched but we've headed that way for a long time. People here were complaining 20 years ago the same way!

I understand. That is a fact and a lof of Betty Boop living products are produced in China because of low labor price. But not all of made-in-China products are really low quality. And you have to know that made-in-China products will be very common. So don't be sad about that because the quality you concerned will be getting better in the future.

By the way, our Betty Boop products are already get licensed and this fragrance product is very important to us so that is why I came here to ask all of yours' idea. And the most of important thing is that this Betty Boop fragrance product is totally produced in France. I believe you trust their ability.:D

I concur... you can't discount 'advanced' technology in third world countries these days... not to mention cheap labor indeed. Hence the reason why America is and has been "outsourcing" labor outside the country.!
Products produced outside has gone beyond compared to what it used to be before. They have certainly improved on quality!

Well I guess it depends on whether or not there's going to be a picture of betty on the bottle. If there is it depends on what picture you put on there. If you put one on like the picture at the top of the forum with a couple of hearts around her then it would be associated with love.

There is rose flavor contained inside with other flower scent. Rose represents lovers and it' also an expression that malel would like to do to show their feeling to their girlfriends. Bottle is pink since Betty is as pink as cuties. Glitter shining inside show this gloring betty.

Well that might not be so bad. My problem is I personally can't stand the color pink. I've never been a fluff and stuff kind of girl. I've always been the tom boy type but with a little femanine appeal. lol.

So did I. I did know that 'After Shave' is much higher in alcohol than cologne before but never knew the diff between cologne and perfume.

After Shave has much higher alcohol content which gives off fragrance much faster and more intense. But for same reason the fragrance doesn't last anywhere near as long. (And of course the price is much lower)

So many new boopers have asked me this question. I should have a link to one of my previous answers.
I'll keep it simple although there is more to it than I have time to explain now.
Basically music has been an important part of my life (as well as audio quality). I have followed good quality music of virtually all but a few types.
One of my favorite types is traditional (classic) jazz. The music of the 20s and 30s era. (including the popular music as well as jazz of that era.) Most experts consider that the pinnacle or highpoint of American pop music. I think there is little question about that.
Unfortuneately popularity of that style of jazz (in fact jazz in general) is more popular in other countries than right here. (Americans are basically a very UNcultured group.) The exception to that lack of popularity is in states like California and New York. Moreso California than NY.

Well I get fully involved with my interests. It is my personality. Betty Boop was born in that era and I studied a little on her. The forum was a natural for me when I dicovered it.

There is even more to it as I had a relative who was a pop star in the 20s. etc. etc. etc.

My husband and I also enjoy jazz music from time to time when it's available here... which isn't often. He played with jazz musicians for many years, so I understand your feelings about that style of music. He discovered though that the only way to for him to really make money with his music was to play rock, country and contemporary styles since paying jazz gigs were few and far between.
