livingbooper we caught the last 30 minutes of the 'Feasting on Asphalt last night'. It was the one where he at the Pork Brain sandwich I believe it was a repeat from earlier last week. Exactly what night of the week is it on? I can never remember.

Well, I think they repeat a couple of times in the week. I think it's Saturday when the new episode is run. They play the episode from the prior week then the new one plays. That's cool because if you miss a week you can catch up quickly.

I am quite fine. Marsha has been working hard and has been tired lately. We are looking forward to Labor Day weekend when we shall go to our next Classic Jazz Festival. (Sweet and Hot Music Festival). I am a member of the non profit Foundation overseeing this.

Besides my Rock and Roll, I also really like Jazz. My mom took us to the Concord Jazz festival when we were kids. One of these days I'd like to go to a Jazz festival again. You two are going to have a blast! I am envious!;) :)

nope she doesn't want to quit. She started smoking when she was about 15 or 16... she stole them from my dad. He was a smoker too and she saw him die a horrendous death from smoking related cancer. But she is stubborn and hard headed. She and her husband both smoke and her hubby also chews tobacco! Talk about crazy!

I know that she is going to cause me some real grief in my heart and in my life in the not too distant future because of her smoking. I've begged her to quit.. my dad begged her... but she wont' do it!

no matter what you do or how someone else suffers from something...you cannot convince them....i know i have tried!!!....i only wish my mother would have listened to me....but she did not...im glad i quit!!! but i still have that chance of getting lung cancer...simply because i grew up around smokers....im sorry you cant reach her...but someday she will know...i pray she does not have to go through that but
