Actress to play Betty Boop

There is an upcoming actress in Hollywood that should play Betty Boop. I don't think she's been in anything huge yet, but her name is Rachel Rose. She'd be an excellent Betty.
Her website is http://www.rachelrose.com , I think. Her pictures are really nice too.

I don't know if they are getting a real actress or not, but if they do, I think Rachel Rose is the person they should get.

There is no way that they could ever get an actual person to play Betty. It would just ruin the whole Betty Boop magic. Rahel Rose is very pretty, but don't think she could pull it off - don't think anybody could really. Sorry! xx:P

I hope they can find the right voice for Betty since Mae Questel passed away. That Romance of Betty Boop in the 80's was bad to me on account of her voice being so wrong. They should have a vocal audition that forum members be asked to judge. We'd find the right actress.:)

There are a couple gals who do good Betty impersonations! One of them does the kiss on the Betty Boop website. MGCHAN knows her name.

Grace might be too tall ..... so maybe Karen would be good. Where can you see pictures of this Rachel Rose? I went to the page and it said that the site is under construction.
What would be the plot of her movie ..... What other characters would be in the movie .... Could there be new characters or would just the characters already established be in this movie.... Do you think that it would ruin the movie if BB was constructed by the computer or would it be better that way ???? Just some questions to ponder. :) :cool:

I think having her animated is probably best because it'd be difficult to find an actress who could portray her... she's just so cute as a cartoon character.

I don't think that MGCHAN is the decison maker about making an animated cartoon about her... there's probably a whole lot of executives who will make that decision.. but hopefully he can pass along the message to the powers that be that there is a definite interest from her fans to see her in a movie!!!

Remember when she made a cameo in the commercial last year? I loved it... do you know what the commercial was for? I wish more people would use her in advertising... like the M&M's characters? those guys are sooooo funny!!!

ummm i dunno bout karen, shes a bit old, i mean imagine her in one of bettys dresses.... i dunno if id wanna see that :-S BUT Jane Horrocks could play Betty really well if she had black hair. i dunno if everyone knows who she is, she played Little Voice, thats a british movie, i dunno if u USA'ers wud know it :-S but look her up on google, shes gr8 shes really good at impressions and she has a lil squeaky voice like karen, all it is is that shes blonde, that wouldnt do at all....

I think the cartoon characters are great and so much fun and so enjoyable to watch.

I hope someday we'll be able to see a new Betty Boop animated film and also one about the M&M characters would be funny too.

Betty is and always will be an animated star! Apart from anything, i dont think there is anyone who has the right shaped head, and the right sized eyes. Just think.... I just stumbled across this site while clicking around on the web, looking for stuff to buy. I'm sure others have found their way here in the same way. The fans in here are passionate about our Betty. I know that there are many many fans out there that have no idea that this site exists, but they are also passionate about Betty. Look at all the BB stuff that is made and sold now... and the list of goodies is ever-growing....
I KNOW that there must be a HUGE following right now and that any movie made would be a HUGE success! I'm sure the most obsessed of us would probably see the movies several times, just marvelling at being able to see her on the big screen and put into a more up-to-date scenario....

Michael... could you have King Features Syndicate influence someone in Hollywood for us? I think we are READY!:D
