Mail Box

MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY BOUGHT A HOUSE. AND I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A MAIL BOX WITH BETTY BOOP ON IT.

IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN FIND THIS OR HOW TO MAKE THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

:D I do a lot of different things like make seat covers and other BB items. Depending on how much BByou would want on the mail box or the pictures you would like, it wouldn't be hard to make one just from a plain metal mail box. Get your mail box-new or old, clean it, if it's old make sure no rust-if there is use a wire brush to take off any rust. There is a lot of paint for metal and just go by directions on can. Now comes the fun;) Find a picture,sticker or if you can paint real good try that. Just put your findings on the mail box any way that looks good to you, I have used a (LITTLE) tape to see how it would look that way you can move them around if you don't like the way you put them on the first time. Now either cut out pictures or leave as is, stickers the same way. you can also find a BB picture on the net scan and copy(if it's ok with that web page) if it's not you won't get your copy (I know I've tried) or you can e-mail them and ask if it's ok they will give you permission and a site to go to. Then you can use as a stencil those are easy to do also, that you can find how to on the net or your craft store. After your mail box is ready your pictures ect in place just get some indoor-outdoor varnish that won't yellow it will say right on the bottle or can, that you can find at any hardware or craft store. Apply and let dry:D :D And you'll have the BEST looking mail box in your neighbor hood;) Good luck and have FUN:D

Hey DBOOP1... that's was a great idea for decorating the mail box with Betty Boop stickers and/or painting it with a Betty Boop theme!!!

I'd love to see how it comes out... hope we can see a picture?:cool:
