Yes I do, a top of the line one but that doens't matter. If you don't put your phone line into the surge protector it will cook it the phone line. That's what happened to my last one. When I plugged everything into the surge protector i forgot about the phone line and zap there went the computer. The phone company said it wasn't possible and the Dell wouldn't cover it because it was an act of God. That really made me mad but what could I do.

The power grid we're on is horrible, plus my house is over 50 years old so just to be safe I unplug it. Better to be safe than sorry. But now I do have wireless internet, the dial up was way to slow.

I can remember a few times that the weather wasn't so great along the coast... foggy... cold.. windy.. blustery... raining... humid.......

But for the most part.. it's a nice place to visit but too expensive to live there.... too many people too.

But Belize is pretty warm too isn't it?
Does Kingwood/Houston have weather similar to Belize?

Belize weather is characterized by two seasons: a Rainy and a Dry season.

Belize Annual Rainfall…

Most of the year's rainfall occurs during the period June to November, which is referred to as the Rainy Season. It should be noted that the transition from dry to the rainy is very sharp.

Belize annual rainfall ranges from 60 inches (1524mm) in the north to 160 inches (4064mm) in the south. Except for the southern regions, the rainfall is variable from year to year.

The begining of the Rainy Season starts in early May in Toledo, (where the Belize annual rainfall is highest) progressing north to the Stann Creek, Belize, Cayo and Orange Walk District in late May, followed by Corozal District in early June. The mean temperature varies from 81°F/ 27°C along the coast to 69°F/21°C in the hills. The coldest month is January.

The highest temperatures in Belize are experienced during the month of May. One should also consider the Hurricane Season when making a decision as to when to travel to Belize.
