Hi! That's right everyone...

BABY BOOP IS FINALLY HERE!!! :)

Mommy's little angel...Jordan Makayla, was born on May 21, (I was three days overdue) at 7:24 a.m., weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz., and 21 inches long!!!

She is the sweetest little thing I could ever hope for! Chubby cheeks, pretty grey eyes, a head full of straight brown hair, and an adorable little face...but above all that, she's perfectly healthy!

For many months, I prayed and prayed every night that the Lord would bless me with a healthy baby...and he surely enough did, and she's beautiful to add to it!

I had a long labor, but a very very very easy and quick delivery! And yes, it was all worth it, cause look what I received in return!

Sorry it took me so long to post or reply to anyone's threads, but obviously, motherhood is a bit demanding. However, it is the most wonderful and rewarding thing you could ever hope for! :) On top of that, she is a wonderful sleeper, eater, burper, etc.!

I am not sure when I'll be able to post or reply again, as I am obviously kinda tired...but know that Jordan and Mommy are doing just fine, and I will post some pictures as soon as I possibly can! And thanks to everyone for their kind words and support!!! :D

Isn't that the truth! I live in the middle of open cattle range and we get lots and lots of dust here. It's an ongoing battle and has to be part of my regular house cleaning routine... I wipe away dust constantly. It drives me crazy.

And all the figurines have little nooks and crannies where those little dust devils love to hide!!

Almost every day we get in the ER from 5 to 10 patients with the stomach virus. Just remeber to keep a good diet. Antibiotics don't do any good since it's a virus. Things to remeber:
1. After vomiting or diarrhea don't eat or drink anything for the next 2 hours. That way you let your stomach rest. Even a drop of water will mess up the stomach again.
2. After those 2 hours star with ice chips, and progress to 7-up, gatoraid (clear liquid diet).
3. Once you have tolarated the above, then start with Jello, popsicle--- cracker without butter and so on.
Try to do this for at least 24 hours before going to your regular diet. Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

When they tell you to drink something is to avoid getting dehydrated, and it's ok, but after giving the stomach a rest. Our digestive system have a natural wave movement (peristalsis), and when is altered (by a virus, food poisening,..) it moves faster than our body can handle, and it goes up or down fast LOL.

I had quite a scare yesterday afternoon. My mother (who lives next door to me) had a minor stroke. I wasn't here, I'd gone shopping and my sister ran her to the emergency room. She was able to come back home last night but she had really high blood pressure and has lost the hearing in her ear on her right side.

It was pretty frightening. I hope the hearing loss is temporary. She also broke out in hives last night.

I feel so bad for her that I wasn't here but glad my sister was home (my sister lives next to mom too)

I don't know much about strokes but I guess they can be pretty serious. She also was running a fever with the hives.
