I'm back, after quite a while! I picked up some new hobbies, like web-page making. I still haven't lost my love for betty, just lost my job... again... So I have more time for other things now.

For the people who don't know me yet: I'm tineke, from the netherlands. 22 years old, temporarily no job, always worked in shops.

Hey biker! Great speaking to you again! Hope you are well too! I made some kind of wrong move yesterday turning my head around, and my neck hurts as hell, and because of that I have a terrible headache! And on top of that I have a man coming to visit me in a few minutes about me being umimployed.. I hardly got any sleep last night... But for the rest, I'm fine! Sorry, just needed to complain, I guess..

Hi 10eke.. sorry to hear that you are unemployed and that you injured your neck by turning the wrong way. I know what you mean about not getting a whole lot of rest. I've been getting up between 4 and 4:15 am and working in my garden while it's still cool. It's staying light here a lot longer now, so I work in the morning and the evening in my garden.... watering and weeding and tending and mending... always something to do in the garden. My iris plants are blooming and are so beautiful too! Fruit trees also doing good.

Hello! sorry I haven't been on for a while...
It's an outlet store for 3 bigger '********' shops in our town. They sell lots of different things and they also have a flyer out every week. The stuff that doens't sell well, comes at our place... My tasks include: handeling the sales, help custumers, finding a place for the new stuff in the store, and eventually I'll be educated to take over the managers tasks.
Tomorrow is my first day.. I'm sooo exited!!! I hope it's going well...

He sounds like my husband...if you can get Listerine there it will probably help oh and I've also heard you can put an aspirin in your mouth and hold it next to the gum/tooth that hurts and it will help ease the pain. The taste of both the Listerine and aspirin are awful but I think they will help.

It was really close, and they were like pops followed fast after another (hope that's good english) I was scared at first, because it sounded like a gun(well the way they sound in movies, never heard a real gun)! Only two days ago a window got smashed in a few houses away, and the guys car got torched too... So I thought it had to do with that. But when I peeked out the window, I saw the fireworks. Big relief!

Fireworks... that was pretty thoughtless of someone in the neighborhood. I'd think it was someone shooting if I heard that around here. They aren't legal around here. What is happening in your neighborhood that there is so much crime?

Yup! I'm supervising the store now... The boss is on holiday. Isn't that difficult, but I have a lot to take care of... I have a lot on my mind these two weeks!! But only 3 or 4 weeks, and I can have a midweek off!! I think I've worked hard enough by then ;-)

From what you've said in previous messages, it sounds like you are "in"!! Except for the "safe" incident, you have performed exceptionally well, I'd say anyway.

Haven't they had you in management positions when the manager was not there? Seems like I read you said that once.
