I just had to post this and show all of you!!

I have this exact same doll! I got it out of a crane machine at Wal-Mart for
50 cents!!

Does this seller think he can sell this doll????

Someone on ebay recently traded up a paper clip and eventually bought a house. There's always someone who will buy ebay crazies.

However, if you can get it in a crane machine at Wallmart it's almost certainly a legitimate item. Good luck to the seller.

I know that it is a legitimate item, it is made by KELLYTOY.

I was just shocked that he was asking so much for the doll.
I did email him and ask him if he was serious on the price.
He responded:

No, not really. I relisted the item, but i was unsure of its value. Im currently researching for a decent start price. If you have any ideas, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I gave him some input about the doll and I hope he is able to make a sell! :D

I something is seen as "collectible" its value is whatever the collector wants to pay. I really don't have a problem with this.

The seller is reselling a legitimate item. There is no rip-off of the Betty Boop image.

I agree Moocher. I don't understand all this fuss. I am trying to see everyone's side but this I can't figure out why it upsets everyone.

I don't think anyone here is upset about anything.

I posted it just because I thought it was a ridiculous price to be asking for such an item that can easily be purchased under a dollar. I basically just wanted to share what I had found with other boopers. That is all.

I had no idea it was going to cause people to argue about it.

I will close the thread so there will be no more discussion about it.
