It has nothing to do with religion here. Easter is just a holiday that kids get off from school for a week or so. People enjoy coloring eggs. Etc. There are parades. Women used to enjoy showing off their hats. etc. etc. etc. And I started this thread so people could enjoy this 'SpringTime ' event. I really suspect the real problem is that people have nothing to say relarive to that. It is much easier to say nothing back and forth on threads where you don't have to think. Oh I think I'll stop now..... before i get..........

Why would you want to say Happy Boopday instead of Happy Easter?
That makes no sense at all. We are allowed to wish each other a Happy Easter, Merry Christmas, Happy St.Patty's Day, Happy 4th of July....etc etc. We do not have to change the name of the holiday.
If someone does not celebrate one of these holidays then they do not have to reply to the thread created for it.
It is just as simple as that.

We enjoy Easter here. The kids are going to 3 egg hunts this week. Then all my family from out of town is coming. We have Easter, my aunt has Thanksgiving, and my uncle has Christmas. We have alot of fun together.

There's really no place to go where I'm at for Easter Brunch. Wish there were. Most of the families in our community have family gatherings on Easter. We would have to drive 40 miles or more in any direction to get to a good restraunt. Really bums me out sometimes.

Fuji's are the last thing we pick up here. They come off in October and November. Oh and yes we grow them. But we are slowly grafting our trees over from Fuji's to other apples. The money just isn't there anymore for Fuji's.

Oh yes, I love Fujis. I also love Pink Lady Apples every bit as much. And I love Pacific Rose (At times my favorite). Pacific Rose originally came only from New Zealand here. Now (last couple years) mostly from Washington. And, they are even better than the New Zealand ones (which are super good). Also like Jazz and Southern Rose from New Zealand. I eat an apple every single day.

The temp was 96!! I thought for a moment we were in the middle of summer and not Easter!
