Hello Everyone :)

I have just today, come across this site.

I am hoping someone will be able to help me here.

I am on a hunt, for a gift for a very good friend of mine.

Originally, I was looking for something original, that is, antique, a doll or something. I have hit nothing but road blocks so far. Its easy to find "new" Boop items, but the older stuff, UGH!

I would still like to find something older, BUT, have now accepted that new may be the way to go.

Ive seen alot of the large life size statues, that sort of thing, but I dont know where she would put that, or if she would even want it??

Im trying to keep it a surprise, so I dont want to ask her too many questions either.

I like the look of a "slot machine" I saw, and a "vintage" looking Betty Boop radio.....

Other ideas would be appreciated, ESPECIALLY if you have a seller in mind as well.

Im in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

I dont use credit cards, but am more than happy doing a western union money transfer, or sending a postal money order.

Price range, well, depends on what it is. One doll on EBay I like the look of, is starting at $500.00, and I was considering that, except that im not registered with EBay at the moment, and that the $500.00 is in fact a STARTING PRICE" That doll, (either of the 2) is kinda what I was originally looking for, to give anyone a better idea who goes to EBay.

This seems like a very nice site, with kind people in it. It has been a pleasure finding it. HOPEFULLY the one im buying the gift for, doesnt know about it yet, or the surprise, wont be as much of a surprise anymore! :eek:

Hello!Ken;welcome to the forum.I know that you are not registered on ebay.Ebay is the best place to find BB stuff!It's a limited edition.I found this BB black and white b*st statue.It is amazing!This statue is no longer available.I would love to add it to my collection(too pricey);I'm sure you friend will love it.Not to big;not too small.Here is a pic of it.The cost is 150.00 plus shipping.They do accept Money order.I hope this helps!:D

I just checked on ebay and they still have it.Look under betty boop bust statue.It will show up.Do you someone who has an ebay account?You can them if they will let you buy under their account.Good luck!

PM is not enabled here due to safety reasons. To protect the members from online predators. Leaving messages in your reputation points area is also unsafe. This is not what the reputation points comment box was designed for. It is for leaving comments for posts and that is it, not to communicate privately amongst other members.
