This is a brand new Vandor item for Spring 2006. It's a heavy item, so shipping will not be cheap. We used to sell the metal ones but had problems with them being damaged in the shipping process. Since these are wood, they should ship better. We're trying to keep the price as low as we can on this item. FORUM members get 10% off too!!

I can see where the metal ones would get damaged in shipping!

I went to pick up an item from the Post office the other day and they just threw the box on the counter! I told the lady that I hoped that was not something breakable!!

I know what you mean;our postal workers don't care about our packages!The funny thing is I sent my sister a package overseas and the postal worker told me herself that even if you put fragile on the package that doesn't even stop them from throwing the packages around.But;not all of them are like that!The lady that delivers my mail;is awesome.I miss her when she's off.She takes pride in doing her job the correct way!
