I Had It Given To Me It Was Bought A Long Time Ago At A Garage Sale. Wanted To Know Some History On It Have You Ever Seen It Anywhere

no sorry i have never seen it but that's a good thing. cause youre' one of the few people who own that particular rug. sometimes they only make a few of certain designs then they sto making them. that's why they're so fun to collect ,but i hope someone knows more for you.

Hi Joanne,
Yes, I have seen this rug before. It's from a series, I believe, from Jay Franco & Sons, mid 1980s. They also made beach towels to match, but I do not believe they made large quantities of either. In fact, they may have been a prototype run as sales samples.
They are quite rare, for whatever reason.
I'm not sure what else to tell you, you didn't ask a specific question.....
