Hi,

This is my first time on the site and I think it's great. I love the forum and I hope we get a lot of participants on here to make it a success.

I have been an avid collector since my freshman year in high school, at least, and that's been about 15 years...don't do the math...lol. I've collected a ton of stuff through the years.

Anyway, I hope to meet other fans and learn more about Betty, if that's possible, and hear about what everyone else has in their collections.

take care all :)

I am new to this site and have been looking for a Betty Boop Forum. Well now I've finally found one. I have been a Betty Boop
fan since i was a little girl. years ago she faded out for a while but now she's back big time. I meet people all the time and they say how much they like Betty Boop, ( Like she's something new now a days ). LOL Alot of folks don't know that she's was a 1930 Cartoon Character. All I know is I watched her movies in the 60's. And now I still watch her on video, and laugh still.

:D

Good job on this much needed Betty Boop forum! This is a fun place to share info and trivia with other Betty Boop fans.

Thanks to the administrators for pulling it all together and putting it together for us. Your hard work is appreciated.

Do you think you'll ever have a chat room for Betty Boop fans? How about Betty Boop email service too? I know I'm asking the impossible right?

You'll need to take a photo of your collection (excluding your tattoos ;) ) and post it in the Collector's Showcase forum.

Hi, All,

Yeah, ABettyBoopster, you have some collection. I have a ton of stuff, too. I do plan on taking some pics and posting them...I have some really cool stuff. I mean it's a little of everything;

A Ton of T-shirts, mugs, pens, dolls, a great porcelain collection, Danbury Mint plates, ornaments, wind chimes, a big cartoon collection, stamps, a personalized tank top with Betty in a champagne glass, a working telephone, a cool Betty Boop celestial lamp that I got for a steal on Ebay, a stamp, a coin counter, bathroom set, shower curtain, oh, I got one you would love, ABettyBoopster, it's a toilet seat cushion and on the cover, Betty is on a Harley...lol...mini figurines, picture frames, a silver charm, a sunshade for the car, water bottle, frozen mug, baby betty boop doll, baby spoon, huge slippers with betty's head...lol..., PJ's, two bandanas..those are cool...a Betty Boop rubber duckie...wallets, dog tags..LOVE the BB dog tags, alarm clocks, clocks, a doll with Betty dressed in Army gear..love that one..lunchboxes, stickers, a book of her cartoon strip in the Sunday paper back in 1934-1936, an awesome Zippo lighter, a nightlight, socks and floormats for the car, buttons, mousepads, salt & pepper shakers, and I got other stuff, but you get the picture. I went down to Universal Studios and I went to the Betty Boop store and met Betty Boop....lol. I was in BETTY Heaven...

I gotta say though...my collection doesn't have a tattoo and I'm jealous...I did have a temp one on my ankle of Betty in a red dress and I loved it...so I'm sure that ABettyBoopster's is hot and the one between the shoulders is probably so cute. I saw the pic of your bike with the artwork...LOVED it.

Well, I better go...we should really all work on posting some of our collections...it's the best part of being such a fan!!!!

Yes, I would say your hooked on Betty Boop also. It's hard to really remember exactly what items we do have. There's just so many. And I want them all. I will post some pic's when I remember to bring my digital camera back home from my boyfriends house. It will probably be in mid March after we get home from Bike Week in Daytona. HAPPY BOOPING:D

Hey all, I just wanted to add that I too think that it would be TOTALLY AWSOME if they put up Betty Boop chat rooms and e-mails. Wouldn't it? What do you all think? I think if enough of us want it, they'll work on it....

Let's see how this forum develops before we consider turning on PMs and email. The concern here is this site is open to all age groups. We want every member to enjoy themselves and to feel protected from unsolicited communications.

If all the Betty Boop forum visitors encourage all the other Betty Boop fans to join too then this forum will grow and we'll see all kinds of neat things happen here. But for now, we need to encourage more participation. Thanks everyone.

I think this is better than a chat room because you can post messages and communicate whereas in a chat room you may be the only one there....

i think the forum is best without PM's to be honest becuase then everyone interact's with everyone! :D rather than one on one!
