National Betty Boop Day

Hey Fellow Boopers,

I was answering to various forums today and a question was proposed as to whether we should have a National Betty Boop Day. And accordingly ACDCGRL15 agreed with me that it should be Betty's birthday. After going onto the Official Betty Boop Web Site in biography i learned that Betty's birthday or the day she first appeared on film was August 9, 1930, so my questions is how many boopers out there feel that August 9 should officially be deemed Betty Boop Day.

I'm all for August 9, because that's my birthday as well. But wasn't she originally created on July 30? Some of the books I have say both dates. It gets to be confusing. Maybe one of the moderators could help me out on that little question.

Betty boop roses. I love them. In fact that's what was in my wedding boquet when I got married. I also had bb rose buds put on my cake. It was sooo beautiful.
