Hello Everyone! :D
I am in need of some help once again! The other day I was on Ebay and found a GREAT set of plates! It's the whole set. Well I emailed the girl and asked if she still had the certificates and everything. She got back to me today. They are in great condition and she has all the certificates.:) The auction is over. But Luckily, the plates are still available. She had the opening bid at $200. Is this a good price? What would you boopers do? :confused: I'm still a new collector. I have many small BBitems, but nothing like this. I don't know much.:mad:I have attatched a pic of the plates. Take a look and tell me what you think!! ;)

No I don't...took it out of my watch list after it ended. I just happend to save the pic for my wish list that I give to my Husband:D

It comes out to $16.67 per plate, not incuding shipping. Is the shelf included?

These were made by Danbury Mint and a search on Danbury Mint shows other plates going for $29.90. It sounds like a good buy if the plates are in mint condition with the certificates. If you can get the shelf included and with shipping it's around $230, then it appears to be a great deal. When shipping, make sure you take out insurance on it and there's a tracking number. Also make payment using PayPal.

However, one thing that makes me leery of this deal is that it wasn't sold on eBay. Most things that are posted and reasonably priced will sell. If you could find the eBay link, it's worth looking at the description of the sale.

I have all of those plates myself and I bought each one for $30. I love my plates. So personally if she's got the certificates and she's offering $200 I would get them. The shelf it's self is worth a bit.

Sounds like it was a good investment that you made 10 years ago. Good for you!! That's the way to do it.. buy and hold and watch it grow in value!! :D

What do you think about the famous people getting away with drugs and drinking while driving? I think it stinks,I don't think anybody (I don't care who you are) is Above the Law.

In reality they get punished just like other people. Don't rely on headlines for reality.

Welllllll........ it seems to me that some celebs do tend to get away with more than the average citizen and it sure seems like they pay less for their crimes than others do....
