Betty Boop / Mickey Mouse butter dish

Recently I found a lovely Betty Boop butter dish and I am very curious to info on this item. I think it is from the 50's.

Hi,
Yes, very nice butter dish.... not very common, but not that old, either. This is part of the set made by TROPICO (France) that included Salt/Pepper shakers, cups and saucers, mugs, etc. These were made in 1992.
Tropico Diffusion is no longer in business, it was purchased by Demons & Merveillis and they continue to make BB items.

Thanks very much for these reactions and help. That the butter dish is not that old is a little disappointment. Looking at the colors I would estimate it from the 50's. Great to read you agree with me that it is indeed a cute item.
