The item has ended early. Given the seller's attitude, I think a message from an official source (King Features or Hearst) in this person's email might be the only option (other than walking away and letting him or her throw more toys out of the pram).

I find a polite enquiry asking whether an item has the appropriate licensing message attracts a lot less abuse and can be equally effective.
