Courtney here, just posting a small update about myself...

As some of you may or may not know, I am 36 weeks (aka 9 mos.) pregnant now...expecting my first baby boop! LOL Still no real name decided yet, but my older sister and one of her coworkers suggested a few great names to me earlier this evening. :)

Anyway, I am posting this also just in case Baby Boop decides she's ready to pop out of the oven anytime soon...as she can come any day now. So if you guys do not see me posting for more than 4 or 5 days...it means I may be in the hospital! Personally, I think she's gonna be stubborn and come around or past my 38th week, since she seems to be so comfy in there. I guess we'd all be comfy in a snug, warm, waterbed for this long, with nothing to do but **** out mommy's energy and cut off her air supply?!? LOL

Thanks for reading this. Also, is there anyone here who would like to swap e-mail addies with me??? If so, I could send you an email or even call you as soon as I can, so that the announcement can be made on a post here. Just lemme know! :)

Tick-tock, tick-tock.....

I'm now 37 weeks....considered a full-term pregnancy. No baby yet!!!! waaaahhhh!!! :( I had a doctor's appt yesterday and the doc told me that she weighs about 6 lbs. So if I do go to forty weeks, she may end up being a bigger baby than I thought I was having! Everything else with baby is fine :)

Unfortunately for me though, I am kinda ready to have this baby and lose this big bubble of a stomach! (I guess any woman who's been pregnant would understand) I have been trying to do some walking to try and "walk the baby down" as my mother says...but no action yet. I am in the stage of just waiting for something to happen. I am not even scared of labor just because I'm so ready to pop! LOL

On the good side...as of right now we have the baby's name! Which will (probably) be:

Jordan Makayla Bailey (Bailey being the last name)

My sister and one of her employees came up with it and I have liked it ever since...but who knows? It may change a million times in the next 3 weeks or less!

Anyway, this is just a quick weekly update on the BB forum preggy...to anyone who's interested ;)

Well, I'm 38 wks. now, still not much action yet. However, (sorry if I get too medical) I have been having contractions since 1:00 a.m. last night, but they have not been close enough to be considered real labor...so I have been laying in bed all day trying to deal.

Hopefully, I will try to hold out until Tuesday (my next doctor's appt.) to see if I'm dilated any, but as of right now...I'm just tryin to roll with the punches...


SOMEONE SEND ME LABOR VIBES, PLEASE!!!

I don't know when I'll be on to post again, but I will try as often as I can...if I'm not in labor, that is. ;)

No....no Baby Boop yet! :( When are you coming, honey??? Mommy's waiting on you!!!

For somewhat of an update, though:

My older sister, Corrida, and I put the finishing touches on Baby Boop's nursery...we put her blanket set (pink with baby rosebuds and teddybears) in her crib, hung up the pictures and wall plaques, and put almost all of her stuff in the crib...as decoration, I guess. It looks soooooooooooooooo cute!!! I wish I had a digicam so I could take a pic and show you guys! But don't worry...my sister's bf has a digicam that he is gonna let me use when the baby is born...and a little while afterwards ;)

Well, other than that...I have my next weekly checkup tomorrow...which just also happens to be MY BIRTHDAY!!! WOOHOO!!!

Sorry, LOL I just had to get that out...anyway, I am hoping I have dilated or effaced any...so we will see how everything goes in the next few days. I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll keep everyone as posted as I possibly can!

Hi everyone!

wooohooo!!! it's my birthday!!! :D

I am so happy! I had a good day today...got a bday cake, flowers and balloons from my b.f. and got the sweetest card from my oldest sister, along with having my weekly checkup today. :)

Update on Baby Boop:

Well, everyone...I only have 1 week and 3 days now until my due date...and I found out today that the baby is weighing in at 7 lbs., already!!! Looks like I'm gonna have a big baby. :)

Unfortunately, (for me) I have not dilated or effaced one bit...but it's good news for the baby, I guess...she's enjoying her warm waterbed as long as she can! But other than that, baby and I are progressing just fine...so I'll keep counting the days. :)

To Bikerbettyboop: noooooooooo!!! I'm glad that I'm not having the baby on my birthday! As cool as it may be...that means for me I'd NEVER have the possibility of having a bday of my own again...LOL

BABY BOOP IS BEING STUBBORN!!!! :(

LOL Don't pay me too much of mind, everyone...I'm just ready to have this baby, that's all. As of today, I'm 39 weeks. And guess what???? Still no action! :(

Although, I did go to the hospital last night for a couple contractions and pelvic and lower back pressure. I am contracting even now, but I am still not dilated any. So I guess that's all I have to wait on.

I have another doctor's appt. on Thursday, I wonder if I'll last until then...but obviously, it's not in my hands to determine when she wants to come out...it's in hers (the baby's, I mean)

Well see how THIS week goes!

Hope this finds u happy @ in good health!;) things have been CRAZY!!!!! here, i found out that i have to have a surgery on my (r) wrist on the 22nd. of this moth.:eek: OUCH!!!!! i also have to stay the night just to make sure thgs. r ok @ i'm not in alot of pain!:( so i won't b on the site for awhile, but i'll try to chck. my e-ms. ASAP!!! So, what's happn? Have u gotten any new bb items lately? that could be true as well in france i did notice anything particular though but it's true that the moon makes women have their babies when they reach the end of their pregnancy, even nurses say they have more work at this period!

I hope you're right Valerie about the moon and I hope Courtney has her baby soon. I remember the last few days before my son was born.. it felt like he was never going to get here... did you feel that way too with your girls?

I think it's easier on the mothers though than the fathers... they get nervous and worry too!! ha ha...... That's easy for them... haha :D

Well, everyone, TODAY is my due date....and still no Baby Boop!!!!

*arrrrggghhhhh*!!!!!!! Sorry, had to get that out...LOL

I figured that the full moon (the 16th) would have some type of effect on me...nothing at all, though. I guess she is just enjoying her sweet time in Hotel Mommy...LOL

It's so funny how ppl I know and talk to keep telling me the things to do to have the baby...examples:

Do Jumping Jacks
Run a lap
Eat spicy foods
Someone gave me a recipe for a special salad, LOL
Castor oil...(ewww)

Those are the few that I can think of, but trust, me I have gotten plenty!!!

Well, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow early in the morning...so let's pleeeeaaaaseee hope that I'm dilated or something!!! :)

Im in grade 8 & i love betty boop! i have long blonde hair, blue eyes & my braces just got taken off! my ackney cleared up a wile ago so im happy bout that & i just got a chawaw & his name is Pudgy! & my stept mom is geting & dog & we r gona name it bimbo! my fish r named koko & grampy! i no u dont really care but o well im typing it so.... ya i love betty boop i have tons if heer stuff & i have lots of her movies & my grandma has lot of bettys stuff 2! did u no that the lady who played betty boop was Mae Qustel she did the voise from 1301 untill 1939! :) :P :) :D :) all i have 2 say is.......
