I've got a thread up over in the appraisal forum to try to find out what this thing is worth, but since I'll be selling it in the end I figure I'll post it over here as well:

(Image is from a thread on this board of someone else's collection, since mine is still in the boxes and would not make for a very descriptive picture)

It's the whole calendar and all twelve of the "month" figurines, still packed in their original boxes, likely never out of the box other than when I checked on them.

Will likely end up on eBay in the future, though I would like to find out what it's worth first. Though it sounds like you can't post eBay links in here, so I'm entirely open to people making offers in here while I wait to see if I get any answers on that thread/before I put it up on eBay.

Yep, haven't gotten around to putting anything up on eBay yet. Let me know if you're interested!

Sorry it took me so long to respond! I'll send you a PM for us to discuss it if you're still around.

or...apparently this board doesn't have private messages! Or an edit button!

In my merchandise thread the guy said he's seen these selling for around $50, and there finally was one on eBay recently that went for $55 with some damage, so I was hoping I could get around $75 for it since mine is still in the boxes and in perfect condition.

I hate to tell you this but, it is worth a hole lot more. When it first came out at Danbury Mint it was $19.99 for each figurine. So that part was $239.88. And then you had to pay for the calendar part, and I believe that was $49. I know it was very expensive when it came out. I did get one then. I found a lower cost one on e-bay. But it was worth more.

The guy in the merchandise forum, who seems to be accepted as an expert around here, said it originally cost $150 from Danbury.

I doubt anybody's willing to pay nearly that for it nowadays, so it's only worth what I can get out of it.

thepapag, do you have an email address for me to contact you at?
