Seller states this is a Betty Boop doll but I don't think it is:

I can't get the photos. However, they say "Betty Boop type or similar," so the doll is unlikely to be genuine Betty.

The doll is being sold nude. Before anyone gets too upset, most dolls are made nude and then clothes are stiched on. Collectable vintage dolls are often sold nude, because the clothes have been torn or gone mouldy. However, I don't think King Features would allow Betty Boop dolls to be made nude and then dressed.

So it's probably not Betty, but then the sellers don't claim it is. I don't think it is illegal to claim somthing is "like Betty Boop," or a "Betty Boop type."

I have seen that doll from that seller on there before. It looks like they are having a time trying to sell it. It is not Ms.Betty.
