How many fan members have Betty Boop tattoo's? :D
Bikerbettyboop

I don't have a Betty Boop tattoo but I had a friend when I was young who's dad had Betty Boop tattooed on his upper arm and he was so proud that he could flex his muscles and make her dance... he could still make her dance well into his 70's!! He said that when he was in the Air Force in WWII, his plane had Betty Boop painted on it too. I guess sometimes we forget how long Ms. Betty Boop has been around!

Hi Candy Dimples:
I think there are quite a few of us with a Betty Boop tattoo.
I have a tattoo of Betty Boop sitting in a champagne glass on my shoulder/back.

My GF really wants a Betty Boop tattoo, what do you recon she should have done picture wise.
Bikerbettyboop
04-17-2003, 01:46 PM
She should choose an image that she absolutely loves and feels she can't live without because she's going to have it on her skin for a long, long time.
There are millions of images. Is she thinking of a Betty Boop image? That would be fun if she really loves Betty Boop that much to tattoo her somewhere on her body.
However, if she is only getting the tattoo to please you then you should have her think twice about it. She should get the tattoo for herself.... don't you think so?
Do you have a tattoo?
Boopsie-Cola
04-20-2003, 04:02 AM
nah dont worry im not only getting it done to please him, in fact im not sure hes to keen on the idea neway.
if i was to get a tattoo im not sure that it would be an cartoon image of bb, maybe it wud be pudgy, or a siluette of betty doing a cute dance move.
i know im totallly obsessed with betty boop now but im scared of the thought that i mite have her tattood on my skin and then grow out of her when im older :( (hope i never do) im only new to betty boop and have only been a fan for less then a year.....so maybe i shud wait till i decide 4 sure.
lol plus im not even at the legal age to have a tattoo yet!

Yes, you are right to wait.... you can always get a tattoo.. and once you're ready, you'll know exactly what you want to put on. Good luck... and in the meantime have fun with Betty Boop even if it is temporary.. but I'll bet you'll be a life long fan like the rest of us!!

Getting a tattoo is a decision you have to make for yourself.
DO NOT GET A TATTOO IF:
- You think it would be great to have one because your friends have one.
- having one would make you cool and accepted by your peers.
- you want to make your boyfriend/girlfriend happy.
- you want to make your parent(s) unhappy and this is one way of getting back.
- you think it would make you more sexy/masculine.
- you think you can always remove it later by laser.
- you are underage.

Hi, I have a tattoo of Betty Boop she is an angel sitting holding onto her legs I got the image from a shirt that I have & I love it. McGhan is right you have to really wan't the tattoo because it stays with you for the rest of your life. It doesn't really hurt to get a tattoo it is just an annoying feeling it feels like someone is scratching you in the same spot over & over. Well anyway talk to you soon Gina

boopsie-cola, Everyone here is so right, Make sure that you want a tatoo of any kind. It is everlasting. However have 2 Betty Boop tatoos and love them both. A Betty Boop Angel between my shoulders and Betty in a purple dress ( Instead of the red dress ) just wanted to be a little different. I have a total of 11 tatoos. I've got a Panda on my upper left arm, A large Red Rose above my left wrist, a cross on my right hand, a very small Panda above the thumb nuckle on my right hand, Taz's girlfriend playing a blue bass guitar on my upper right arm, a heart and flower bracelet around my right wrist, a small red friendship heart on my right thigh, A in memory Rose for my late husband on my right calf, a blue daisy on my left chest. However the daisy is now faded out so now I'm having it made into an Oriental Dragon. I've had to have them recolored. Most of them are 25 years old. Just be careful and take your time deciding. All mine are from some point in my life. And I love them.

Hi Boopsie-cola, It is true that the tattoo scabs up after you get it but it is not ugly you really can't tell that it is a scab. It depends on the person how long the scab stays I have a friend that got one & she only scabbed up for a week some people get very little. You can see the design when it scabs up it is just a process of the tattoo they are sticking a little needle in & you bleed a little so that is why the scabs come. It didn't really hurt me to get it, it was just an uncomfortable feeling. Like I said you have to truly wan't one because it is permanent. We should take pictures of our tattoo's & show them. Talk to you soon Gina

well my birthday is coming up in July and im going to be 20. and i finally decided to get the nerve to get a tattoo, and i want a betty boop one (been wanting one of her since 8th grade) i havent been able to find the right image though.
i want a picture of Betty all 'punk'd out'
basically her in punk rock clothes with her cute little dog :)
would you know where i can find one? or someone that maybe be a artist could draw one for me :)
thanks a lot!

I would help you out, but the best thing i can draw is stick men, and thats with maximum effort.
You could try and commision one of an artist but that might cost anything from 25 dollars to 50 dollars, maybe more.

cyndix1039,
You can go to the tatoo shop and they maybe able to draw up what you want. I did that with a girl Tax playing a blue bass guitar because they didn't have one. My husband had Taz playing a red electric guitar. We had a band and he played lead guitar and I played bass. So we wanted something different. And that's what we decided on. I also had the guy at the tatoo shop draw up a Betty Boop Guardian angel that I had him do between my shoulders.

Hi There;
Even though I am an old person. I had to pick up the album Dookie the major label debut by Green Day. This album came out in 1994. Has it been nine years already? They are from Berkeley Calif and fronted by Billy Joe Armstrong.

John... you're not old! Remember you're only as old as you act!
I'll have to ask my husband if he knows who this band is... he's a musician... he sings and plays classic rock. He had a band called "Night Moves" for many, many years. (he obviously likes Bob Segar) But he also likes the Doobies and the Eagles.
I like some of the old stuff... like Buddy Holly (I like to play his songs on my guitar).
I also like Patsy Cline... she was a fabulous singer.
We have a music room in our house that has drums, amps and about a dozen guitars set up... so we're ready to jam anytime!
I have a Bonnie Rait Fender Strat...... do you know anything about guitars?
Boopfan713
08-21-2003, 11:37 PM
Hi Biker Betty Boop;
That is great that you have a music room with all those guitars. I am jealous. I am a huge rock n roll fan and hang out with many of the local musicians at their shows.
Since you are a Patsy Cline fan you probably knew that "Crazy" was written by Willie Nelson. ( I threw that in because I am sure that most of the fellow Boopers did not. )
One of my Rock N Roll buddies is getting married on Sunday. Besides having his band play they are also having an Elvis impersonator ( first set Young Elvis - second set Old Elvis )
When my buddies were in the studio they were joined by Bernie Leadon on guitar. I am sure you know that he was formerly with the Eagles.
Another friend of mine was playing in a local club when they were joined onstage by Brad Whitford ( Aerosmith guitarist ) I was upset that I did not go that night.
I love those Buddy Holly songs too. Once I won a pair of tickets to the Jeff Beck show when I called the radio station and identified the riff being played by Eric Clapton and Blind Faith as a Buddy Holly riff.
I do love guitars even though I can't play a lick. Sometimes I go to the guitar center and check out the merchandise. Gibson Les Paul; Les Paul SG; Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster; Music Man; Rickenbacker; Danelectro; I could go on and on. I always excuse myself when a salesman asks if he can assist me. - "No - just browsing."
I get to see local legends Aerosmith perform on Monday. They are sharing the bill with Kiss.
John

If you still like that picture after a year (or half a year) you'll probably like it your whole life and it's perfect as a tattoo.

To be fair, Im not sure I have yet! I've survived piercings. I had my nose pierced when I was 16. It was the first rebelious thing I did when I left school, but I've taken that out since. Didn't think it was very feminine on me - some people can carry it off, but I don't think I did! Then I had my belly button pierced, so I think a tattoo should be next.
You might not have the courage to have a tatoo Bikerbettyboop, but I would never have the courage to get on a motorbike - they terrify me! I suppose people can cope with different things!

10-21-2003, 07:24 AM
I can't not wear my earrings. I have this strange idea that I have large ear lobes!! lol I can't believe I just told you that! Its true though, if I don't wear earrings, my earlobes look bare and big!
In answer to your question 10eke, on ebay.co.uk, they always have betty boop belly button bars. I was tempted, but decided against it. They're not too expensive either. But i prefer the one I have already. My dad bought it for my 18th birthday with my birthstone in it, which is diamond. Its very pretty - and we all know that Diamonds are a girls best friend!
And also, if you think you have too much belly (which Im sure you haven't) it's actually easier for them to pierce it. (Which is why he had no trouble doing mine!!) Actually he stabbed me by mistake because I was giggling too much and my stomach was moving as I laughed! Oh dear - never have been one for keeping still!
So...in conclusion to my ramblings, I really don't think it matters if you have a little too much belly - it can still look nice! Its very pretty in the summer as well! You can't ever have too much jewellery!
