Simply Embroidery... Looks Like Betty Boop Embroidered items on eBay

This seller has several auctions for Betty Boop Look alikes on eBay. When I asked her about it, this is what she wrote back to me:

hi there,
these designs are drawn by myself and are not actual betty boops for which I do not require a licence(boop alikes),unauthorized betty boops only hurt the consumer if they are sold in great quantaties and for a lot of profit which these are not so they cannot be harming big sellers like yourself, there are over 50 people selling these designs on the bay and most of them are not home drawn.

I hope we can stop this seller as soon as possible. She is located in aston-under-lyne, Greater Manchester United Kingdom

And even though she feels she is doing nothing wrong, it is still illegal for her to sell these items, isn't it?
