View Full Version : Betty Boop All Over Print T Shirt ? Please Help

Hi there

I will be honest. I have joined the forum and are posting out of shear desperation in trying to track down a Betty Boop item for a very unusual cause so sincere apologies if this is considered bad forum etiquette

I am part of a Queen (the pop/rock band) tribute and for authenticity I am trying to track down a garment of clothing Freddie Mercury wore back in 1986 and I promise you, I am ripping my hair (what little I have left) in trying find any information on the shirt let alone the shirt itself.

Firstly the shirt has a front and a back image and is virtually and all over print. On the back, Betty is wearing an all white dress with an orange headband with a large read feather in it. On the front is a cheeky chappie (mouse or dog ? ) holding a love heart in the air with the words 'Bom ! Bom !' over it. There are also what appears to be yellow bricks interdispersed all over too. Incidently, I do have jpegs of this shirt and can e mail if helpful

I cannot begin to explain how very, very grateful I would be for any advice in tracking down this illusive item.

i think i know which one you are talking about, my mum pointed it out to me when it was on the tv one day. i'm afraid i don't know where you could get this shirt but i wish you the best of luck on your search!

Thank you for your welcome. I did try to click the image button but nothing appeared to give me the option to search my PC for the image. It came up with a [img] and no browse option ?

I'm a bit of a novice with this as you can tell :D

Thanks BBF but I'm not over confident. I have worked so hard in trying to track one down but I have a feeling I am going to have to result to a home made effort :(

The photo links are now working... sorry but I have never ever seen that shirt before and I've been selling Betty Boop shirts for many years now. Makes me wonder if it was a handcrafted shirt? Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Thanks BBB. Is there anything you have ever seen that comes close. The T Shirt ideally must be white and large. Any suggestions ?

Or failing this guys, does anyone know what film this would be from ? Betty appears to be dressed in an Egyptian Princess out fit :confused:
