Hi rover
Cab Calloway sang in three Betty Boop shorts. In each case the setting was an eerie cave, which could be described as "a sort of hell."
The shorts were:
Minnie the Moocher (1932) Cab is a spooky walrus. He sings "Minnie the Moocher."
Snow White (1933). Koko morphs into a long legged ghost that sings "The Saint James Infirmary Blues" in Cab's voice.
The Old Man of the Mountain (1933). Cab is a weird old man with a long white beard and huge feet. He duets with Betty. They sing "Get Along with Me." The song is sometimes called "Hi-De-Hi."
I hope this helps you identify the short.
