Any suggestions on the next forum contest?

that's a good idea i've already reshaped a clock and i'm starting to paint BB from a small image to make a bigger poster to hang in my bedroom

I think a sort of 'best BB craft' would be the best idea. i have many things i have made by hand and i know other Boopers in the forum have too.

I think it would be a good contest if bb fans could display their bb handmade items. I have read and know that there are many of us out there who can contribute to such a great contest. I know there will be a good decision soon.

I just read another thread about an idea. It would also be neat to hear everyone best story on how they arquired their bb item. I know I have a few. Again you soon will make a wise choice on a contest. Maybe one this quarter and the other the next.

The Betty Boop Motorcycle Club has trivia contests that are always fun and interesting. The correct email answers are put into a hat and a name drawn from those entries. That's always fun cause we find out stats about Betty Boop.

What shall we do for the next contest? I think that a look a like contest would be hard for thoughs who don't have a scanner. Hey, how about making up a one (1) page story or headline featuring bb. Maybe Micheal and other choosen members can judge 5 the best and resubmit them back to the members for 1, 2, 3 places. Only an idea.

So does it sound like something we bb fans can do??? Maybe 1 page is not nothing but no more then 2 for maybe the long story catagory and the poem idea is also in but as a short story 1 page. And only 1 entry per member if story no more then 2 entries if poem. This could range from an bb adventure, love story, learning experience, on the job, just clean FUN. How about a news headline featuring something that bb did??? I would love help to make this happen just email back.

it sound's like a great idea but i will NEVER be able to write a 1 page story! :o

i think that should go on a different post. that way when you come up with different ideas for other stories you can post them, anytime!!!

The lenght of the story really doesn't matter. There will have to be a catergory for that kind of writing but a writing. So what does the membership think???? While the jury is out, I'm thinking about catergories.

So my only question is - Where is Mgchan on this? Lets not limit the writing to just poems. These is to create anything but in writing about BB. Newspaper headline, love story, adventure, poems, and tall tales. but those things have not been decided and how it how be ran. Hey Deadpool... do you like the Harry Potter stories? And don't tell me you are too old for him because I'm older than you are and I like reading the stories and I loved the movies.

Me and Boopsie-Cola are doing great these days.

I havent actually read any of the Harry Potter book's although i watched parts of the first movie when my lil'sisters were watching it. But i do read a lot of books and read a lot of comics as i',m quiet the fan of literature (esspecially literature art!)

I like to read too but can't seem to find the time like I did when I was younger. Seems like we're always busy.

My husband and I rode up to the Grand Canyon for the Harley 100th celebration there yesterday. It was quite an experience... about 7,000 Harleys were there. It was cool.. but rained so the weather wasn't cooperative!

Last Saturday Don and I were riding to the Harley dealer and a guy on a Harley Sportster passed me and then passed Don. As the three of us were riding along together, a woman turned left in front of us and the guy on the lead bike slammed into her. It nearly killed him. He is in critical condition in ICU at a trauma hospital in Phoenix. I was pretty traumatized by it all and even considered giving up riding motorcycles. But decided that I'm not going to quit yet.

So Please help us spread the word... tell all your friends to watch out for motorcyclists when they're driving their cars or trucks. Let's make the world a safer place for motorcycles!
