3ft Betty Boop!

Hi,

I have a 3ft Betty Boop with a short pink dress on. Her hands are held together with two fingers pointing upwards. She has gold bangles and gold earings with her garter showing.

I cannot find another like this anywhere on the internet, unfortunately I cannot seemt to get a photo on to my laptop so no image available! She was brought for me as a present from an antique shop.

I would like to know if she is worth anything and if so, how much?

Hi Heather,
This sounds like one of the statues imported from The Philippines. Several years ago they began selling these here in the USA, most are unlicensed, so the only value is basically the open market will bear. Here is a link for one of the importers of these, and they are retailing from $200 - $700. You can search some more on the internet, you may find the one you have.
