I am engaged to a Betty Boop fan and have quickly been converted. We are both motorcycle riders. Well, I am a rider...he is the controller.
I am seeking either a needlepoint(no plastic please), a non-machine embroidary kit or a crewel kit of Betty. I would prefer a motorcycle theme but I am flexible. I really would like to make this for his Christmas present.

Thank you,
Marthaann

Welcome aboard! Now you're hooked for life! LOL :)
I'm not sure if there are any, however, stay away from the unauthorized ones on eBay.

I've been looking for a long time myself and have not found any that were authorized. I do a lot of cross stitching and would love to find some BB patterns. If you do find some let me know. I'll keep looking for you as well.

Welcome by the way from one newbie to another.

Is it kosher to make my own patterns? I have an idea for a Christmas stocking.

It is my custom to make stockings for new members of my family so this year I need to make one for John and Evan.

I found a place that has cross stitch patters of Betty. Here's the link

http://www.crafts-unlimited.co.uk/system/index.html

All the prices are pounds so I don't know what the conversion is. I would like to know so if there is someone out that could help that would be great.

I can't tell you if the patterns are authentic or not but all of the sure are cute.

I have done a few Betty cross stiches and some other types of things with Betty on it, I go online and find black and white pictures of her and print them and trace them onto my fabric and then color her the way I want. There are pictures of her on her bike. ;)

For my birthday last year my aunt bought me a betty boop cross stitch kit with Betty sitting on her motorcycle. It came from someone in Europe. I will try and find out the maker for you if you are intrested. ;)
