I just wanted to share with you all some photos of my handbag that i made earlier this year.
The fabric is 100% cotton and is my favourite - her on a harley!!
It is machine and hand made.
I love this bag - it's big and carries lots of stuff (especially good for hiding BB purchases from the other half - hahaha :P :D ;) )

Yeah it holds heaps.
There's 4 pockets on the outside, 2 main compartments and 1 secret compartment that's in the middle of the 2 main ones.

As i said i can certainly hide lots of stuff in there - hehe :D

Yeah i've had a few people comment about it and when i say that i made it they normally say "will you make me one"!!! Which i say - "You couldn't afford for me to make you one!!" :D
People think because it's handmade that it'll be cheap and i'll just whip them up one!! Doesn't quite work like that - it took me 2 full days of cutting and sewing to get most of it done and then another day to hand stitch all the binding in place!!
A labour of love (for me of course):D :cool:

i have to me a top from scratch for my textiles courwork, buy all the material, sew it, embellish it! it's gunna take me ages!! i'll get there though ;)

good idea! i haven't started it yet, just doing all the written work first! but soon enough i'll be starting, before christmas i would imagine!
