Here is a disappointment!

I recently bought a chain and pull for my ceiling fan.
I bought it at an ebay store.
I didn't know they were handmade and it looks so tacky!!
Betty's legs are fat! Not a thing wrong with meaty legs but not on Betty!

I am not sure that what this person is doing is legal or not.

I aplolgise to those who think it's cute, but I don't. Even without the obese legs the iluustration is very poor.

Personally, I think it's a rip-off. Not all sellers on ebay are sweet ladies selling a single article.

If you can get your cash back, bettyboopfan, then do. People shouldn't get away with advertising something using an illustration that looks nothing like the article.

I am a sell on ebay and I would never sell anthing like that especially since it is illegal! It is unauthorized and if I were you to get your money back and tell them you also want the shipping costs back! Ebay needs to know about this too! Anytime you see unauthorized items on eBay you can contact them.. just follow this link: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index.html and click on the infringements and then click on the email link following the complaint list.

I complain to them all the time!! And sometimes I'm successful in getting the illegal auctions stopped before someone else gets burned by a bad item. My biggest peeve are the sellers who sell nude or risque images of Betty Boop... that drives me crazy!!!

The face is scowling, and looks harsh.

The body is skinny and sinewy.

The whole point of Betty is that she is cuddly and slightly vulnerable (in spite of her self sufficiency).

Also, for all the images are nude or very scantily covered, they are not "sexy." Truly erotic images (IMHO) need to retain a bit of mystery. These look like an anatomy lesson.

I can't imagine who would want to buy them. However, they are illegal and I hope the seller is discouraged, especially if (as I suspect) the seller isn't advertising single personal items, but is a business.
