I enquired about "The Official Betty Boop Fan Club" on this site about two months ago. I was assured that it was "official" but I was also advised that you didn't get a lot for your annual subscription.

I'm not into Betty Boop merchandise, but would welcome access to screen captures, cels and sources of DVDs/videos that I can play in the UK.

$10 lifetime membership sounds like a much better deal.

The Betty Boop Fan Club will either be up either towards the end of December or sometime in January 2006. There are many 'moving parts' to this and the best news is, there will be a line of 'Official Betty Boop Fan Club' products. They will only be available online at either The Betty Boop Fan Club store or an authorized licensee. Only members of the fan club will be able to purchase these items.

Can you still be a member with out paying?? I hate paying for stuff especially online.
The fact that I have to pay to be a member to even sign in is a turn off to me.
But if I did not have to pay just to join I would be happy, I doubt I would want the membership kit anyhow, unless it had Boop stuff in it and I did not have to pay shippin and handling.

I know this may all sound kind of cold hearted, but I just feel this way. Sorry.

Thanks BBooper... I am a happy exhausted old lady... LOL!! I am both happy and relieved that the next few days will hopefully afford us some R&R time to enjoy the holidays. I plan on baking and preparing our holiday dinner with our family. How about you... are you doing much baking and helping your mom? Your nephew is soooo cute too! He's going to love Christmas isn't he?

i do do baking with my mum!! tomorow we are going to makes some pies, triffles, cakes and a chocolate log ready for christmas eve and christmas day!!

Ican't wait to see tye for his first christmas!! i'm sure he'll have a great tim, probably more intrested in the wrapping paper than the presents, lol!

I see them all the time in England but they are soo over priced they asked for £50 which i don't know what it is in American currency but when i went over there they had loads in the big shop i am sorry i don't know what its called though.
