The Dictionary Game

This games requires the use of a dictionary. It's a good way for us to learn the definitions of many words.

Here's the objective:

Post a word.
Someone has to post the definition of that word. (doesn't matter if it's a noun, verb or adjective etc). Use the word in a sentence.
Leave a new word in the pot for the next person.

Here's the first word. gossamer-
