Yes, it's officially licensed and in the future there may be additional franchises across the states. The opening is this summer and as soon as the date is known, we'll announce the location. :)

Oh, I can not yet for that bit of info. For I only live 4 hours away from SF and my mother lives there. She already contributes a big part to my BB collection and now to have a Diner near her with BB items. HEAVEN!!!!!

I don't know when they are opening but it is located at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, CA. I was looking for more info about it and decided to look here. Sally.. where abouts in Ohio? My hubby and I are transplanted Buckeyes!! We love Ohio but glad to be out here in Arizona.

I'd love to see the Betty Boop table.. that's a great idea... all restaurants should do that!! I have my whole kitchen done in Betty Boop... salt and pepper shakers, sugar shaker, napkin & holders (3 different styles) cookie jar, clock, mugs, candy dish, canister, recipe box, trivet, spoon rest (3 different styles) placemats, hmm.... did I forget anything? Oh yes, water glasses, and a big plastic bowl that I use for salads.. oh and I forgot my chip and dip server.....(Betty Boop Motorcycle style!) I'm sure there's something else somewhere that I'm forgetting!! LOL!!!!!! I'm just an insane collector!!

One of my good friends told me that I'm lucky cause I can buy it wholesale.. I told her it all still adds up.. wholesale or not!! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Betty Boop makes my day!!!

And boy I said "Yes". Told him about the BB Forum and the many members that would love to know where to come to enjoy BB. So the young man gave me his business card. It has a great pic of BB but I don't know how to send it. So if someone does please let me know. Anyway, the diner is on Powell St. and will be re-opening on May 10th. I'm going to make another trip soon.

There is another one opening in Daly City, Calif....at the Serramonte Shopping Center....don't know the exact date its opening.

OMG I am so thrilled to hear this news! See, I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I've been to Sanfran when i was 7 or 8 and I LOVED it. I think they should build it by the dock close to Fisherman's Dwarf...I think that was the name of that place....anyways this is very exciting news. I think I speak for all the members of the Boop Community when I say: PLEASE KEEP US POSTED!! And I hope they have good food if all this imformation is true.
