Is Betty Boop an inspiration from Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, and other women from that time? I know that many people say that she is from Helen Kane and Mae Questal's look, but whenever I watch her, I can't help but see a little bit of Mae West and Marilyn Monroe in her as well.

Personally I think she is an inspiration for all women. She came along before Marilyn did. ;)
