The way I do the points:
I always give the newbies points.
I give points to members that I see that are honest and sincere in their posts, to members that are helpful to other members and if they have made me laugh ( :) )!!
I do give out the points everyday and I give them out all over the forum. In the chit chat lounge, the polls, the contests, anywhere I see someone deserves points for their post.
That is just how I do it!
I guess everyone has their own reason for giving them out but I don't do it in hopes that I will receive them back from the people I have gave them to.

For every 100 points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Minimum Post Count
A User must have 50 posts have before their reputation hits count on others.

Minimum Reputation Count
A user must have 10 reputation before his reputation hits count on others.

Daily Reputation Clicks Limit
A user can give 10 reputation clicks over each 24 hour period.

Reputation User Spread
You must give 10 different users reputation before you can hit the same user again.

Rep points...when someone gives you points...are they only on the page you see...or can you access all the pages...points have been applied to?

I believe you can only see the most recent ones.

I could be wrong but I have never been able to access the previous points I have received.

yea, they kind of move down as you get more knocking ones off the bottom. so you can see say 10 comments. you can read the bottom comment and then you get a new one and it get's knocked off, but your points are still there, if that makes sense!

I can only see the comment and the day and time it was left......I can't see who gave me the points and who left the comment.
I use to be able to but now I can't.......just wondering if anyone else is experencing this or if it is just me.....
