VW Beetle Betty...

I've got a VW Beetle (1968) that I'm about to do up.
Its having a Betty Boop theme of course!!!!

Has anyone else done this?

Although...I'm pretty sure there is a BB lover somewhere in this world who has "freaked" their car out with BB art and decals and paint etc...there still won't be one like yours!

That should be a very interesting project. GR8 idea. Be sure to get before and after piccies!!

It's going to be a mint kinda colour but with a hint of blue. I've got a window sticker for my beetle of Betty in the same colour beetle.

Sounds like a fun idea, although I would never own a Bug. They scare me. Even the new ones.

If I did not have the scares for them I would own a yellow one, with all my BB stuff for the car. Boy I have lots of car stuff.

The stering wheel cover, the floor mats the back BB Faceplate and later in life I will have BB Plates that will say this: "Boop2U2" :D Sigh one day hmmmm

They are so small, what do you think would happen if it were to get in to an accident? I had a friend who had one a new one and got in to one just one accident but it was totally totaled.:(

I have a large one of BB sitting on top of her name.
But mine belongs on the outside of the glass.
From what I read on the post of this decal it belongs on the inside.
That would work if your windows are not tinted.

I've tried ebay but they only seem to sell half metres. Im looking at about 4 - 5 metres in one piece.

I think that Betty image with Tweety is a "custom" image.. I've never seen them co-licensed before...

Awwww I am sorry you had to sell your Beetle!
My husband had to sell his a couple of years back when we bought our house we live in now. We don't have a garage here and that is where he kept it at our other house. He was restoring it. It was his first car that he bought when he was 16 years old. He was such a baby when he sold it....lol. Poor guy...lol.

Ha.. you are probably right ... but there are times on the bike that it can be scarey. We rode them last Saturday and got on a road under construction and there was only a rough gravel surface where they were repaving in one part and I have to admit, I was pretty frightened riding across that part of the road... for about 3 miles, I was praying a lot!!
