Me too i need to keep away from Cake, Cookies and Fried Chicken but not all at once!!

Cake and cookies!...well...that's a no-no!

The fried chicken...
Make it...Bake it...
or
your body won't shake it!

I read in Redbook magazine that you need to avoid all the foods that begin with C (cake, cookies, candy, coke) except for carrots!! LOL! But somehow carrots just aren't as much fun to eat as the other "c"s!!

I'm really trying to watch what I eat to the point of almost starving myself and guess what? I gained 2 lbs! Now go figure!! LOL

that dont work becouse then you have all that water gain then you have to take something for that i gave up on diets a long time a go

I know it's not just dieting alone that makes us lose weight... exercise is real important too.. so I should be exercising more and sitting here on my computer less! A lot less! LOL!

yes i try to go for a walk every day but i like to just stay on line my hands get alot of workout you know textin in posting

I have been losing weight for the past few months. I was on the low carb/sugar diet and lost 47 pounds, but at a stand-still now. I got this new book glycemic index and it says I am at a stand-still because that's what happens and I need to start counting glycemic index now. I'm not finished with it yet but I want to lose another 50 :eek: I know..huge??? But my point being...I'm dieting too. :P

Me and my partner tried to detox for a month on drink, we don't really drink that much but i got a bit scared as i watched a program on the t.v about it and i think it shook us up. I t lasted 2 weeks, before my partner crumbled. I have been munching on chocolate and goodies since...No good as my weight is coming on so i think a glass or 2 of wine is the answer, anyway they say red wine is good for you lol

I've heard that too that you have to be careful on some of those detox drinks!! Good thing you were concerned enough to stop that. I don't think it's that healthy for you, is it? :confused:

i feel you when i was young all the way till i was 35 i was 5/3 in 138 pounds now iam 2... but i try every day to keep active in i do workin with kids but its nise

Some of us aren't meant to be "slim".. if you're too slim, you could get sick more easily... at least that's what my grandmother says!! LOL!

Well I've decided to take the step and go on a diet. I'm tired of being overweight and I'm going to do something about it. I'm not doing Weight Watchers, I'm doing NutriSystem instead. Got the food in yesterday. I've decided to try the one with weekends off that way i can still splurge a little on the weekends. Don't worry I won't over do it, but at least this way I can still have a little bit of my favorite foods once in awhile. If it goes well enough doing it this way then I will step up to the 7 day a week program. So wish me luck everyone. :D

Just about any processed foods make you gain weight. I am trying to lose fifteen pounds by the end of the year. It has been hard to do cause I like pasta and potatoes way to much to cut them out of my diet. I have cut back on them. I lose 3 or 4 pounds then gain it back each week. I have tried all kinds of diet pills and none have worked yet.

mine eather but i try to stay doin some thing some times when i on here i have my laptop on the front of my exercise bike or my trademeil iam over weight but i have to stay active or i will get lazy

Same here. If I don't stay active I will want to sit down and do nothing. And that sure don't help. My Doctor said I could lose up to thirty pounds but thats all I should try to lose or I would be underweight for my height.

Mrs. B from the pics I've seen of you, you do not look like you need to lose 30 lbs! Far from it!! You look awesome!! I don't think you need to lose any weight at all!!
