411 Potatoes

Idaho is no longer a big producer of our State food. Not sure what the number one is now. I will be hearing about it soon. I am not suprised to tell you this I have noticed a decline in the potatoes. My grandpa started his own company rasining potatoes and working on mechanics. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons diease and was unalbe to continue the work. My father (1 of 5 children) took on the farm by himself. Later was unable to produce the plant with the number goin down he started renting out land he is able to make more money that way than to run water and more on the land and to spend his own time on the farm and able to bring in more income else where.

So many things to do with potatoes,what do you like to do with them? My fav potato salad!!!:)

I love mashed potato and pumpkin!! My parents use to feed it to me when I was a baby and I still love it! I also love potato salad like you Lisa!

Every one thinks I am weird because I don't like butter on them.
Instead I put Worcestershire Sauce, Steak Sauce, Heinz 57, and ketchup on them!

My hubby thinks I am weird when I put Mayo on the bottom of my Taco shell before putting in the meat. It makes the meat stick!!:P
