Trade Child for Car?

OKEECHOBEE, Florida: A woman was arrested for allegedly forcing her 12-year-old daughter into prostitution and trading a 14-year-old daughter for a car.

The 39-year-old woman was charged with aggravated child abuse and sexual performance by a child. Both girls have been turned over to the Department of Children & Families.

The youngest girl and her mother were living out of their car, and would sell her body for food and an occasional shower at the men's homes, according to a report by Okeechobee County Sheriff's Detective K.J. Ammons.

The youngest daughter is three months pregnant, the report said; she was 11 when her mother first forced her to have relations with a man. The older daughter refused to be a prostitute and was allegedly sold for a car.

"She was sold to a man for a Mercury Cougar," Ammons said. "But he never gave the mother the vehicle." He was arrested in the case.

The youngest girl told detectives her mother took them out of school. "She said she was a good student and made A's and B's, and all she wants to do is go back to school," he said.

That is so sad,those poor girls.How can a mother do such wicked things to her kids.I hope she gets a long time to think about how she's messed up those girls' lives :(

All too often children are vistimezed.
There is another case of a mother leaving her child behind...locked in a room with nothing but water...while she slips off to be with her boyfriend for 3 or 4 days.

I can not belive that someone would do that to their chidren, what is the world coming to when people start using their children to their own benifits?? That is hash an awful I hope the best for the family that they get out of the dumps so they do not have to keep doing what they are doing.

I heard about this on the radio and tv the day they found them! What is this world coming too? Everything is not going right in this world today, with girls expecially. There are way too many girls used for this purpose and are getting murdered, too!

I just was watching Maury Povich the other day and seen a bit about a woman who cut off her 10 month old infants arms...and she callled the father and told him...when the 911 people called her to see if she really did, she just calmly said yes and showed no remorse or even discust at what she did, she talked to the 911 operater like they were talkin about the weather....how can people do such awful things to their own children? My kids drive me nuts, but the thought of hurting them just makes me sick. :mad:
