Today here in BOI, Idaho we have cloudy conditions and it is raining off and on, the sun is trying to peek through the clouds, but not hard enough either that or the clouds are way to thick.
We skipped going out to the inlaws today, wanted to say home an be lazzzy daisys.!!!

They are reporting Flash flood warnings for my town right now!! We hope to get lots of rain, they are always saying we are in a drought. But whatever, by the end of this rain storm maybe they can finally say we are out. But I doubt that, it would take weeks a weeks of rain.

It's been an absolute nightmare at work today! I work on a fabric department and have to lift really heavy rolls. Of course, we have NO men to help us but it's second nature now. I've done it for over 3 years so I'm used to the heavy work. What I'm not used to is doing it in the summer when it's really hot. It's not even the hottest part of our summer yet, so I hate to think what I'm gonna be like in June, July and August!

I do alternate shifts at work. one week I'll work saturday and the next I'll work sunday. my boyfriend works saturday and sunday every week, but gets one in 4 saturdays off. At least I get to see him sometimes! lol

here in arizona we have the majority of our summer over 100 degrees and alot of days over 110...our highest i think was 122 and i was preg at the time with my first daughter...so it gets pretty frickingHOT!!!

Cheers BBooper it's been along time since I'd done that sort of race(lol)nearly killed me but my year group cheered me on loads and they were proud. So's my daughter, she's in the year group below and she's really pleased although she never actually won a race herself. I've told her it's not the winning but the taking part.

It's been 107 degrees here in the shade for the past few days... really hot and unusual weather for us... today is hot and humid!! I feel like I'm in a hot tropical area. Running our a/c units in overtime and we rarely have to run it at all up here... so very unusual weather for us!! The folks down in Phoenix and Tucson must be really having a hard time! these people were flooded out of their city as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Lot of people have died. I think around 10,000.
City completely overtaken by water.

She was finally able to get a generator to her house. Now the electric is restored but they are still bringing in water.
My grandma was able to finally get through to her on a cell phone the other day.
Everyone is doing fine, just a little scared and now trying to put their lives back together.
