Dressing like Betty?

:D Say boopers. Does anyone out there dress (even a tiny bit) like Betty? Whether it be her hairdo, her fishnet stockings, her biker outfit or her little red shoes?:cool: I wear the stockings sometimes and as soon as I find a pair of red baby doll shoes I'm going to by them:D
I also did it! Once I had long hair now it's short, soft and curly around my face, I love it, let me know how Betty you are;)

LOL...I did a costume party on Halloween once at a local club...and of course I dressed up as Betty Boop! I was wearing a red one-piece swimsuit, a red garter w/ a pink heart attached, black fishnet panty hose, and red six-inch stillettos which nearly murdered my feet! :( LOL

As far as Betty's hair...I went out and bought a short wig and added the "spitcurls" as I've heard them called a few times before...in myself, which took a LOT of hairgel and spritz, let me tell u!!!

It was well worth it though, I won, and the prize was $500!!! Yay!!! It was soo much fun. I wish I could still do something like that...but no one wants to see my pregnant butt dressed up like that!!! Maybe later :P

i've never dressed like BB but everybody says my hair curls like her, for me it's just because my curls never go the way i want them to go !!!!!!!
what's new today ? i can't wait recieving this old advert i bought on Ebay i think i'll receive it on thursday if the postoffice does its job well !

:D Hi you! Well today is grey and rainy. I am getting spring fever. If I tought it would do any good I'd go out and talk to each flower seperately:cool: Encourageing them to grow and lift up their tiny heads from all this rain:rolleyes: I cleaned my house and now I'm looking out the window drinking a cup of tea and thinking about starting my BB sweater. I haven't decided to make the back ground black or white:) So I sit:)
Oh my gosh I see the sun poking through. When leaping to my feet I'd better be mindful where my knitting needles land:eek:
I think I'll go out and look at the fish in the pond and throw them a worm. If I don't make it back, then they were hungrier than I thought:D Have a great day, all the other Boopers also;)

Hi! :D

I am sooooooo sick of all the rain we have been getting here in Virginia! :mad: However, it is starting to let up some, today was in the low 70's and the sun has been shining. Yayyy!!! :)

I have caught a case of "spring fever" as well...haha! I have been wanting sooo badly to start a small garden full of Easter and Hurricane Lillies, but I'm afraid that my big belly is not on my side LOL So I have been celebrating spring equinox just by keeping my house clean and preparing for my lil Baby Boop to arrive :)

Maybe by a few more months this time I'll be taking my baby girl for walks and swinging with her in the bench swing on my porch!!!! :)

i do dress like bb sometimes, i have a few outfits that look like 50's outfits, poka dot skirts and cute shoes, the bags, the entire thing, and i do get comments that i look like her, or stepford wives.

there should be a bb convention or something and we can all go dressed like her and meet each other i would love to do that, it will have to be somewhere close to me, i dont fly, maybe NYC....that would be great, we should start something, anyone agree :D

There have been other discussions about having a Betty Boop convention but the biggest problem is having it somewhere that is affordable and easy to get to for the majority of the fans and I don't think New York is very affordable.
