"Ray" was very well crafted. Now I've gotten "Garfield" and it looks like it will be pretty funny and cute. I have Garfield images on my cell phone. Too bad they don't offer Betty Boop... I would naturally have my phone full of her images.... ;)

Well, I subscribe to Cingular wireless and have downloaded images and ringtones from them. I'm afraid that Cingular does not offer Betty Boop. My new Sony Ericcsson flip phone with a camera is really cool though. I like Garfield too... he reminds me of my red tabby cat Poodgie. Both of them are full of attitude...or cattitude? Haha! Tomorrow night I will watch Gothika.

I love movies, especially when I can get involved in the story. I don't like movies that are poorly made or have no plot. I saw Gothika tonight and it had me glued to the TV. I thought I'd had it figured out, but it took a few twists and turns and I was very happy to learn that my guess about the plotline turned out to be completely wrong. I like it when a thriller or mystery fools you....

Hi Tineke and BBooper. I still have the same email address. It is not my main one, but I do check it from time to time.
I composed a long letter (you know me! :P ) and sent it along to a few of my friends around Christmastime. That letter pretty much spells out the hardships I had to deal with over the past year. I'll get it out of my Microsoft Word, cut and paste it, and email it to you both.
I am still dealing with the fallout of my problems, but I am managing.
Now, since this thread is about movies, I will get us back on track. I want to add some more movies to my queue... any recomendations?
I did enjoy The Forgotten and it did offer an alternate ending on the DVD. I did like the alternate ending better.

Netfilx is better than Blockbuster considering it is for a bit higher price, but you can get what ever movie you want. I mean any movie pretty much if you want to watch an older movie or something like that there is a better probablititly that Netflix has it.
Check this out they have Betty stuff also. http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=60034628&trkid=181026 here is the list of all Boop movies you can rent from them also!!http://www.netflix.com/Search?v1=betty+boop&search_submit.x=0&search_submit.y=0 Would Blockbuster have this stuff. I have to say that my friends really hate going to makeup intensive movies with me... I've been doing sfx makeup for about 10 years now and I'm a really bad critic... :P The minute I see something that isn't right with the makeup i point it out without thinking, and horror films are the worst for that. so at least going to a horror flick is a comedic event with me. But other than that, I have to say that SIN CITY... although very violent was a fantastic film in cinematography, makeup and overall story line was amazing. It's one of those films that really goes out and blows you away with plot twists and turns... It has a pulp fiction feel (end is begining type of thing) and guest director was (one of my favorites) Quentin Tarantino!!! Amazing!!! hand down!
PS if you are sesitive to such violence, sometimes it is the only way that a story can unfold, not for sensitive audiences and this film also touches a few taboo subjects that are quite disturbing. But if you like that gendre like me. It is a definate rental you wont regret. :) (you will be sad you didn't go see it in theaters  )

Amazing!!! hand down!

The Notebook was good but it didn't follow the book. Which alot of movies don't follow the book. Why is that?

maybe its to complicated or making it directly from the book would not sell ???

i think the best films i've watched this year have to be Life as a house (released in 2001 but i only saw it the other week!) and probably Star wars III: Revenge of the sith! it;s the first time i've ever sat through a star wars film without getting totally bored! i really enjoyed it!

We took Austin to see it @ a matinee, it was worth matiinee price but would of been better if we waited to rent it.
Any one seen Batman Begins??
That was really good. They did a totally different take on this Batman. More of a grown up movie and with much more thought in to the plot!! I was on the edge of my seat, we saw it at the theater , it was defintily a 8 dollar buy for the theater though. Well worth it.
