Hi, I just thought it would be nice to see what personal belongings you guys have, and you can tell us how special they are to you.
Put pictures of the things on here too !

I have two:
1. My teddy called Ted, he goes everywhere with me ! My dad gave it to me as it was his when he was 4, he's 37 now so it's very old. My Nan is repairing it for me because his stuffing is falling out !!!
2. My Grandad, he is old and I've had him along time. I couldn't be without him for too long and I love him lots and lots !

Boy this is a tough one... I have several items that mean a lot to me.

I have a very old hand crank Singer sewing machine that was my great grandmothers.

I have my grandmother's old watch and her original wedding ring.

I have an original artist's proof painting that was my dad's.

I have my wedding dress (it's 35 years old!)

I have an old Betty Boop doll that was given to me by my mother.

I have an old guitar given to me by my father-in-law.

And I don't think I need to explain why they are so important to me because of who gave them to me!!

mine would be my Teddy Bear, Cudderly Ted, and my grandparents :D

Mine is definitely my grandad too!! .... As well as my greatgrandmother's wedding ring, her crystal duchess set, my antique duchess, my mum's diamond 21st key and my first dolly who I called "Christina". Christina came to the hospital with me on several occassions when I was little. I can remember waking up in recovery and the nurses had dressed her up like she had an operation :). She also had her ears pierced with me when I was two, we shared a lot of milestones together.

awww! Christina sounds like my sisters toy cat, Roger, who even went to London and back when we were about 6 because she refused to leave him behind!

hehehe....been there done that (i.e. throwing a tantrum until Christina could come)....mmm I'm curious to know how Ooohlala can have a teddy that is a pig :confused:

I have a copy of a photo of my Dad (when he was roughly 2 years old) that I got hold of a couple of years ago, its now framed and sits next to my bed :)

(btw my Dads been dead just over 7 years thats why I cherish the photo)

Ps I dont want people posting back saying how sorry they are I only posted this cos the photo is one of my most precious possessions ok ;)

GREAT memoribilia and collections Boopers! You guys own some priceless... master pieces. Hold on to that stuff as long as you can.

I have my grama-ma's engagement ring...it's welded in my ear. Like stu nu...I have my father's picture which was sketched by one of my brother's...in my armoir. It is beautiful...and my dad as been deceased since 13 August 97. It is one of my most prized possessions for two reasons. The artist and the man he sketched. I have y dads old watch. It only stopped ticking about a year ago...I have a set of BBoop wooden collections...to die for!

Hi St. Nurse.... I have a photo of my dad sitting on his Harley in 1955 and my sis is sitting on the back behind him. She was only 5 years old at the time. It's one of my favored possessions too cause it has both my dad and my sis in it. I have it framed too!! (And I know what you mean about losing your dad.. I lost mine in Jan. 1996) But I try not to be sad anymore about it cause he had a good life and I had a great time growing up with him as my dad!!
