Great America is near San Jose California. I love to go at least once a year. I'm getting a little old, but I still love roller coasters!!!! This is one fun place that I actually live fairly close to. You Boopers would have a blast!

I hate summer :cool: It gets sooooooooooooooo hot here you could fry an egg on the sidewalk(literally)...i hardly ever go out in the summertime...to hot!!!but of course im in the desert and life in the desert is survival of the fittest...its like eat your enemies...especially if they are retaining fluids....

I love Summer, I truely believe I have S.A.D, Seasonal Affective Disorder.

I am so much happier in the sunnier months than I am in winter months. I think some sufferers are worse than me and they have to hit the sunbeds or have artificial light therapy to cheer themselves up in the winter months.

Woo Hoo! I am a summer person too! Our summers are hot but dry and we have the Pacific to cool things down some.... Finally...finally.. the unseasonal rain has stopped and we finally have sunlight...and spring...and summer weather! I love California in the summmertime!!!!

I am inland and we can get over 100 degrees... but that is only for a certain number of days out of the summer. I love 80 degrees, and 85 is o.k., but I swelter at 100 degrees like everyone else!!!!

I am also alot happier in the summer months.
The winter months I am always feeling drab and don't really won't to do anything. Soon as spring rolls around I am so happy! click on signing up for an account. You will establish an ID and a password.
Then you can read in your pictures from your computer ('My Pictures').
When signed in to your account in Photobucket. Click on 'Browse'.
It will show the 'My Pictures folder. Roll to the photo you want to read in and click 'OPEN'.
It will read it up to photobucket. Then click on 'Submit' in Photobucket. And voila the picture is now in photobucket waiting for you to use it. Repeat for the other pictures.

We've got a storm blowing through here right now... in the summertime we get monsoon storms and we're getting blasted with one right now. The clouds form early in the afternoon and then the wind blows 50 mph and then it rains like crazy.. just downpours for a while and then it usually blows away. We're having a doozy of a storm.. thunder and lightening.. hope it doesn't shut off our power..... Yep, mother nature is something!!

Same thing happened here... it did blow things around outside but no real damage... it caused me a little concern because my husband Don was riding his motorcycle home from work. But he waited til the storm passed and then rode home in the sprinkles. Yep.. it cooled things down here too.

The sad thing was there was a bad accident down the highway from us. People just drive too fast when the driving conditions are poor... first we had dust and then the high wind and rain. Had several ambulances and they had to helicopter someone out... that's always frightening. Made the highway a mess for over an hour cause it stopped the traffic! I don't think anyone was killed so that was good.

And now this morning it is in the 50's and cool and very pleasant outside.

This summer, i got a summer job,about time,lol. and we are going to robbers cave to go camping with one of my moms friends from work and then we are going as a family to tenesesse to dollywood, lol, and then we are going to six flags, sea world, frontier city. and disney, and the list gose on,lol, the reason y we are doing this, this summer is because,last summer we were so busy with the farm, we had no time for a vocation and it is finally here, YIPPE!!
