Go on line look under BB Beach Towels. They are easy to work with and will last a lot longer than any ones youll get in a store. Get 2 towels, sew together both sides, slip over top of seat, fit to size (leight) remove and make a hem on top to either put elastic in or a draw string! They wash up really good to. ;) Good Luck and your Car will LOVE you for it!

Never thought of that! That is a great idea..... You could just get some black fabric and sow on a BB scraf or something to get a smaller effect of BB. My car is all BB! I refer to it as the "Betty Boopilicious" Mobile (nice name, eh!).

That really is a great idea I'm going to have to try it. My cars name is simply Betty. I have Betty Boop all over her, and now everyone calls her Betty too. All my friends know how much I love Betty, so the expected nothing less. Whenever they find anything Betty the automatically buy it for me. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one out there that is such a big fan.

your definately not the only fan out there, and this forum is full of fans, and think of it like this were just a minority.

Well DIVAMAMA,
MAybe you could put a pick of your car on this thing and I will do the same...... It is good to know that fellow BB fans are as creative as we are. And like DEADPOOL said, "We aren't the only BB fans," so maybe there are more BB automobiles out there.......KEEP YOUR EYES OUT FOR THEM!!! UBBM ---- Unidentified Betty Boop Mobile! ;) :D

i saw a car mat at target back home, can't remember if i've seen a seatcover tho. i think making one as daschroeder suggested or a red cover will match great.

oh thats so cool.
I can't wait to get a car i hope i can get a red one so it will match any bb stuff i can put in it, even tho hubby has already said not to put a bunch of "girly" stuff on it......shhhh we won't tell him ;)
Bikerbettyboop
05-26-2004, 07:26 PM
ha you're funny Boopcrazy!! Tell your hubby that there are millions of men who love Betty Boop and don't consider her stuff to be girly. Betty Boop was created for macho guys too!!
I know men who have her tattoos! And there are plenty of men who wear her t-shirts and have their cars and trucks furnished with Betty Boop car mats, mud flaps, etc.
So don't let him try to convince you that Betty Boop is too girly cause she's not!

My b'friend use to say that aswell but since he's the one buying alot to add to my collection i think he's the one with a secret "crush" ha ha.

06-02-2004, 02:15 PM
LOL Mel.... I think there are a lot of men who are secretive about their attraction to Betty Boop!!
boopcrazy
06-13-2004, 03:14 PM
well thanks biker i will be sure to let him know even tho he should already know he's wasting his breath, he knows i'm hard headed and i don't listen but i guess he'll be finding that out if he's forgotten that. :)

LOL Boopcrazy!!! Sounds like you've pegged him well. But don't be tooooo hard on him, Ok?

06-14-2004, 04:00 PM
lol.....i don't plan on it biker, but he should know that i like personilizing my car i always have....i use to have a baby on board sign in one of my cars along with my boys' first shoes on the mirror, it just makes it feel more like home seeing as how my car is usually my home away from home, and it makes it easier to spot in a crowed parking lot, all i look for are the baby shoes in the front window or somthing like that.
i can't wait to get a new car though so i can get the betty mats and things i've wanted for awhile now. :) (shhhhh he'll find out when he gets in the car lol)

I started my BB collection on my car before I meet my hubby, now we got rid of my old car and moved my BB to his car. I am goin to Boop the car more when we have his Jeep XJ running, that comes first cause of the baby coming soon. We need the jeep cause most of the times on Sundays we take the dogs and Austin to mum an pop in laws in the car, just them in there is hard cause Austin gets stepped on. But once the jeep is done we can put the doggies in the far back behind the back seat. Much better when that happens. He only has about 5 more months to get it done. He better get his bumm moving!!

06-17-2004, 06:59 PM
lol yep sounds like he really needs to get his "bum" in gear.

Poor Austin.... glad he likes dogs!! He sounds like a tough kid!!
Hang in there, your hubby will get the Jeep fixed and then life will be easier... but by then you'll have a new baby and that in itself means more work too but babies are so cute!!!

LOL yes would be better if we has smaller dogs but we don't!!
We have an Aketa, girl (Aeris) and a Sammy, boy, (Cody)
I am anxious for the baby, although I am not looking to the midnight feedings, I will definitally let ya all know what I am going to have!!!:D:D:D I am a happy girl wait a min, WOMEN!!!
boopcrazy
06-18-2004, 02:23 PM
lol.......glad to see ur happy yeah i just love babies but the all night feedings i could do without but one good thing is if ur not ******feeding you can always elbow the hubby after you've gotten up the first 5 times thats what i use to do :) but if ******feeding i hope you can run on an empty tank and learn how to feed laying on ur side, i did that one to. well to get hubby going u can always say "austin i'm sorry the dogs have to side on you honey but thats how it is until daddy fixes the jeep i'm sure he'll have it fixed by the time ur 16" while dad is sitting there of course lol he'll get a kick out of it and may feel bad enough to get the jeep fixed faster. good luck and tell poor austin to hang in there, poor kid .

Hi Lisa... I like to sew too and I'm always making something. This morning I sewed a pillow for my in-laws 30th anniversary. I quilted two big hearts on it and then embroidered it with their names and wedding day. I hope they like it!

I bought some seat covers for my car. They are Betty Boop in a grass skirt, too cute!! They are black. I got them from e-bay. I paid all together about $35 for them. I love them!! They were so hard to put on my seats!! I had to have my hubby help me. My Explorer is totally Booped out!! Seat covers, floor mats, sterring wheel cover, air freshners, stickers, decals, Betty doll in my window, keychains, you name it, I probably have it in my car! I would love to find some covers for my kids car seats. They need to be Booped out too!

Oh BBfan your Explorer sounds great!!! Good luck finding BB Kids Car Seat covers...you may have to adapt a set of full size covers to fit the smaller kids car seats.
