I was out surfing last night and I decided to type Betty Boop in the URL bar and so, .... here I am. I totally enjoyed this site and I will pop back in from time to time. I have always loved BB but have only just started my collection. It's amazing how quickly it adds up isn't it? *L*
I've always said, if I were a cartoon I'd be her. My friends all see this resemblance too *L* So I guess that's why I am a BB fan.

Other Booper too:

I finished up my weeding and raking for today. All the little spring flowers are bloomin their little heads off:D Went into my English Garden and weeded and raked. I cleaned out my fountain and now I'm going to go out and clean out the glass marbels in the bottom and refill the fountain. I need to get a stronger pump motor to circulate the water.:D Knowing my hubby he would give me permission to use an airplane engine but I'll save that just incase I want to set up a wind tunnel for unwelcome guest, heehee:D
Oh I almost forgot, when I went away this weekend (I went to Central Oregon) I found a shop there that sells Betty Boop purses. They carry about 5 different styles and 2 different sizes. I wanted one soooooooooooo bad:( but the large one is 49.00 and the little one is 39.00. I'll have to save up! Well talk to you later;)

I saw BB dressed up like a Victorian lady so I was looking around.:cool: How was the weather there today? It was sunny most of the day here and I got back out in my yard.:D My head down, fanny in the air and i heard this voice say "You sure have a beautiful yard" I :o and said thank you. It was our postal lady, so I worked all the harder. Have a great one;)

I raised 6 children
I have 3 step sons, 2 sons and 1 daughter *S* They are now all grown. My daughter is the youngest, she will be 19 this summer.

I have 4 girls, 15, 13,71/2, and 8 months old, you can see the 3 of them and me on the forum are you a parent, i can see you must have been also very busy with 6 children ! what a great family too congratulations, it' s not that easy all the time, especailly with the 15 y old girl it's been now 2 years she doesn't really work at school and we can't find a thing to make her work ! and i am more tired than her nearly of pushing her all the time ! do you have an special american reciepe ? did you meet this problem as well with your children ? thank for giving me a miracle reciepe !!!!! enjoy your day

re: the 15 yr old

I was soooo lucky, my daughter and I get along famously, but, like your daughter at that age mine didn't want to buy into school either, and in truth until they are ready you can't MAKE them, nor should you want to. Education and a life committment should, no HAS to come from their own heart in order for them to take it seriously and see it through. My daughter is now 19, sees the errors of her ways and is not taking adult education to get her credits and she is doing AWESOME *S* I'm soooo proud of her. So just do as you have been. Encourage her, but ultimately she has to make her own decisions and she has to plan her own course of action. Support her *S*
