Hi. I'm a new member and glad to be here. I love Betty's cartoons and the music in them. I know Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong did the soundtrack for some of them, but I'm wondering who did the music for 'Betty Boop's Penthouse'? It sounds alot like Duke Ellington, but I've never seen documentation. Thanks

The music was by Don Redmon. He was featured in I Heard and his music was in many of the Betty Boop cartoons.

Thanks! I guess he was the music behind the jazz parts of 'Any Rags' and 'Mysterious Mose', also. Speaking of 'I Heard', what I wouldn't give to have that background behind the band in the opening!
